Preference implies a choice wheras orientation describes a state of being. I feel these folks should catch up on terminology. Words carry power. It makes a big difference in social acceptance.

I've been taught in church that the world will end in flames and chaos, but what the Bible says does not have to mean it will end totally. Perhaps all things will go back to the way everything was before Adam and Eve, or not that far but before the luxuries that have spoilt humankind today (like technology, electricity, money, etc...)

my cousin is j.wtness he say the holyspirit its not a person or god
he says is just the active force of god thats what he learn from new world translation but i disagree because kjv bible show that he's the third person of the godhead. and to defined a person one must have 3 things intelect, emotion and a will as the holyspirit has. what do you say.

I wanted do answer 'brokentogether' who asked in return if I read The Case for Christ, written by Lee Strobel.
Yes I have, when I began my bible study I wanted sources far and wide.

To be honest, I was disappointed by this Strobel, he came across like an Elementary school teacher reading to children about Santa. His methods were similar to the way Jehovahs Witnesses speak. Something like "when i read that passage from Paul I felt it was awe inspiring, how could this not be true??!!" Hardly convincing.

Straight men: Do you fight the urge to have sex with men?

Gay men: Do you fight the urge to have sex with women?

If Gay men choose to be attracted to men. Then Straight men must choose to have sex with women, even though they are still attracted to men right!

So if Homosexuality is a "choice", then it can be "tought" to others.

Is being straight a choice?
