If you're 'not that bad', you don't understand the standard you are being held to. God is PERFECT. ANY deviation from perfection cannot be tolerated, and so anyone that ever did or thought anything wrong can never enter into His Presence.

Christians do not have to be forgiven all of the time. But when you know that you've broken a commandment or have done wrong, you need to ask for forgiveness so that God will allow you into Heaven. All of your sins will be accounted for on Judgement.

When Christianity started, the church needed a way to control the people. If you are a sinner and you need forgivness you will keep coming back to the church to be forgiven. It keeps the church in business.

I, personally have an anger problem. It's chronic. I get mad at the drop of a hat. So, I pray. Everyone has their own cross to bare.

I have also noticed, that just before most friends part ways, they argue. I think this is because they stop doing the dayly maintenance that a close relationship requires. Part of that maintenance is acceptance, and forgiveness of others.

idk...a question like this is dependent upon the person and it kind of generalizes christians. its like being in a relationship with someone...and im talking about a serious one, not a fling or anything like that...they have certain expectations of you, so if you mess up, you'll need to be forgiven to still have a relationship with that person...only difference is, God is all forgiving...if you're really sorry

FROM THE BIBLE, WE ARE MADE TO UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE SINNERS BY NATURE. THIS MEANS THAT WE ARE BORN IN SIN. THIS REASON IS BECAUSE THE BIBLE MAKE US TO UNDERSTAND THAT ALL HUMAN RACE INHERITED ADAM'S SIN. AS A RESULT OF THIS, EVEN IF WE THINK WE ARE MORALLY OKAY, THAT DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT WE INHERITED SIN. THEREFORE, AS A WAY OUT GOD SENT JESUS TO DIE FOR OUR SINS, BOTH THE INHERITED SIN AND THE SIN WE COMMIT AGAINST OTHER AND GOD. THIS IS THE REASON WHY EVERY LIVING CREATURE OUGHT TO GO BEFORE GOD AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.
THE SCRIPTURES SAYS IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS GOD IS FAITHFUL AND JUST TO FORGIVE US OUR SIN. BUT IF WE SAY WE HAVE NO SIN WE LIE.
FAITH IN CHIRST REDEMPTION WORK AT CALVARY ENABLE US TO HAVE THE POWER TO LIVE A SINLESS LIFE. AND THAT IS WHAT MAKES CHRISTIANITY DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RELIGION.

We humans are all sinners. Most of the sins we commit are venial sins, those which don't requires us to confess to a priest, and which we can do acts of charity to atone. Then there are the grave sins, or mortal sins. These are usually are in violoation to the Ten commandents, and must be confeessed to a priest, and absolution be obtained.

Everything aside from praying and donating. Eating is gluttony, working is greed, exercising is maing an idol of your body, and do not get me started on recreational activities.

That's how religion works - you convince the people that they're bad and they only hope of redemption is through you. This way you can insult people and order them around and they thank you and keep coming back for more.

Read John 8. Count the number of persons without sin.

Obviously by your tone, you have never sin. Oops that was a lie.

Worry about your own life because one day you will be judged.
