Brother in Christ, do you really want to know why they laugh at us? Look at how you are trying to save others. You condemn them. What did Jesus do when he hung around the prostitutes? I realize it is hard dealing with the world, but there are many who love people and don't believe in Christ. Take a deep breath and understand that many will not turn to see the light. Love people, don't hit them over the head with the Bible and tell them they killed Jesus;even if it is the truth, many do not see it that way, and you must respect that and find a more graceful way to change thier mind. <3
Edit: I hate to have to edit this, but some of the answers by Christians here are quite disturbing. We are not ridiculed because Jesus said we would be. We are ridiculed because we have a different world view and many find the beliefs to be absurd. That is like saying we could all go out wearing penises on foreheads and the reason we were made fun of is due to the fact that Jesus predicted it. Christians are ridiculed because most of them are ridiculous and can't hold their own when those of secular beliefs attempt to refute the teachings of the Bible. And whether or not you are "preaching" "at" someone isn't really for you to decide. If they feel they are being condemned or threatened then they are. If is obviously your failed method in putting out the message, not their "stubbornness." Sure, some will never convert, but that means we should love them, even if it means by still treating them as equals and accepting that they have a different idea on the truth. Christians are labeled as judgmental for a very concrete reason: Most of them are.

Spoken By A Very Spiritually Wise Man!.......Don't Be Discouraged, They're Reaction Was The Same Towards Jesus And His Servants!......And Still Is!....Just Like Jesus Said, Some People Like Unrighteousness & Evil More Than Righteousness & Good!......You're Right!....Some Day The Laughing Will Stop Just Like In Noah's Day Concerning the Ark!........But You And Other Servants Of The Lord...KEEP SERVING THE LORD & KEEP STRONG!

We laugh because you use the words "fact" and "theory" so incorectly. A "fact" is something that can be PROVEN. God cannot be proven, otherwise there wouldn't be such a thing as "faith." In SCIENCE a "theory" is something that can be proven time and time again. For example, gravity is not a "fact" it is a "theory." Same thing with atoms, DNA, and almost everything else in the realm of science. If you want us to stop laughing, start opening your mind to new ideas (or at least listen and think about what others are saying) and stop thinking you're right no matter what.

I think it's great that you care about others, but the fact is that gods and goddesses are imaginary, so you're simply wasting your time trying to persuade people that they really exist. My advice to you is to live a good life and enjoy it, for it's the only one you will ever have. Find the satisfaction and reward in your life from being a decent human being and helping others in real, practical ways, not by trying to make them believe religious mythology. That way, in the last few moments of your life you can face oblivion in the sure and certain knowledge that you made a real difference and that your efforts were truly worthwile.

christians get laughed at because they try to preach the word of god without practicing what they preach.like the old story of the boy who cried wolf.no one is going to take serious anyone who does not practice what they preach.walk what you talk,so to say.promises mean nothing if not followed up by appropriate behavior.why would a christian use the word 'freaking',as an example, since that borders on sexual slang.also the bible says, judge not least ye be judged.practicing what one preaches is the best way to be taken seriously.any other practice while preaching would sound more like a hypocrite.

hey we're in the same boat. i geuss they just get annoyed when people always will "preach" "at" them but it wouldnt be like that if some people weren't so stubborn....anyway..i am a true believer in Jesus, and in Iraq thousands are comming to Jesus because they said that Jesus all came to them in a vision or a dream, hundreds of people this happend to! thats not a "coincidence" and just to let you know, your not the only Christian out there fighting for what is the truth. AND they laugh at us cuz in the Bible, JESUS SAID that the world will hate us for what we stand for and for loving God and just being different from everyone else (the world). and so the yare just proof that the Lord DOES exsist and they are just making what He said come even more true!

Well said, brother. Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 5:11-12,
"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
So He knew we were going to take some flak for spreading His Word. Don't be discouraged. If God took everyone into Heaven, some would have to be dragged in kicking and screaming. Blessings to you!

because I don't have a soul, but I'm not going to knock you for caring and I wouldn't laugh at you for caring, but I am going to inform you that you are misguided, I don't have god in my heart and I don't believe in the existence of a god, but that doesn't mean that I don't care, and I do know that Jesus was a real man and that he was crucified, and it isn't something I have ever laughed at, it's something I have cried about, but I have my own beliefs and I deeply care about things, and I have never laughed at anyone for caring, but I do know how you feel

I have researched religion, I was born into a very religious family and yet I have no need for people that think that threats and blame will make them and other better people. What I suggest is that anyone that thinks their own religion means it applies to all people around them are the people in this world blowing themselves up in the name of God and killing innocent people to show them the light, they are very dangerous people and should be taught that the correct way to look at religion is that it applies to me and what i do and in this world I can only save myself and by threatening other people and scaring them into a belief that they may not share is going to taint your own belief.
Save yourself and leave us to make our own mistakes.
