why are people (in general) judged by whom they choose to be intimate with?how does sex with another consenting adult become a parameter of how we judge others?

It should not. I am female, and if you are female and like other females, that doesn't mean you are attracted to me. If you are a male, and like females, it still doesn't mean you are attracted to me. If you are a male and like men, how could it affect me? And if you are female and like men, as long as you don't go after my man, why would it matter? Yor sexual preference does NOT make up who you are - it os only a small facet of your being. Those who freak out over sexual preferences are insecure and small-minded. I am straight, but not uncomfortable around those who are not. (Unless a woman comes on to me - knowing I am straight. This makes me feel funny.) If she didn't know I am straight, I am still a bit put back, uninterested but sort of flattered.
When a person comes on to another person knowing they have different preferences, that is disrespect.

,. Your sexual orientation doesn't matter to me, but it probably matters to a whole lot of other people. depending on what it is. If you are heterosexual then maybe they are gay if your gay then maybe they are homophobic.I don't know but, sexual orientations can be a major concern for some people. Why, because they are not socially acclimated with that group or community.

No one's sexual orientation matters to me. People can choose to be whatever they want to be, and it has no bearing on anything at all. I believe sexual activity shuld be kept where it belongs, private.

I don't really give a care if your homosexual, bisexual, or heterosexual. But on blogs or things like MySpace people want to know so they can hook up with you if your orientation is the same as theres.

It doesn't and it shouldn't matter to anyone else either. If you think about it, all it really boils down to is who we choose to have sex with. Maybe we should start telling politicians who they can and cannot have sex with.
