Differnt part of china = differt skin color?

Is it true if u from south china ur skin is darker than ppl from norther china?Just curious =P

Yes, there are many ethnic groups in China, the majority of which are Han Chinese, and are the ones we'd be most familiar with in the US. But China borders Russia, Nepal and India, where there are many people who are nearly black. So the people along these borders are essentially "mixed" and look different than the Han.

It's generally true in the Southern parts of many countries, the people tend to be darker. For example, look at India, Italy and Japan.

I once worked for an international group that brought in a group of Chinese exchange students (I think they were grad students or something). They were obviously Asian to me, but because they were mixed (they were very fair skinned and tall, unlke our stereotypes), they wanted to be called Siberian and were highly offended if we said Chinese instead.

They are also much taller in the north of China and tend to be a bit stockier than in the south.

i love the floor tone of almost any colour. probable because i'm an Artist. With distinct dermis tones, come distinct facial effective factors too. i'm so happy all of us do no longer look an same. How uninteresting that would properly be.

People from the West tend to think that 'Chinese' people are all one kind of people but there are many many different ethnic groups that make up China's vast population.

Yup, depending where you live, you can have skin color from tan to dark tan to almost brown/black. Kinda scary.....lol
