Of Laotsi of China, it is said that when "he had completed his mission of benevolence, he ascended bodily alive into the paradise above." (Prog. of Rel. Ideas, vol. 214.) And it is related of Fo of the same country, that having completed his glorious mission on earth, he "ascended back to paradise, where he had previously existed from all eternity."

Where is paradise? It is not heaven because heaven is where God is?

When Christianity was introduced to China, the Chinese thought Jesus was another Buddha, not Laotsi.

You can give your life to whom you choice. But understand the Jesus died, God raised him from the dead (our hope for eternal life), and Jesus will return. Now tell me about Laotsi and what didn't you understand about "This document was included for historical purposes; readers should be extremely cautious in trusting anything in this book."

Lao Tze doesnt consider himself a savior. Taoism is a very loose religion/philosophy that usually consist of martial arts.

I dont know where that info came from. It sounds like a christian is trying to incorporate his ideas into Taoism

It is your choice to worship him or not. Religion is based on faith, there are no facts which can be shown to you to guide you in this. I cannot truely say my religion is the true one or another's is false, at least from a scientific point of view. I believe that I have the right religion but I have no proof, no one does.
