I need to choose a Saint to sponsor me in my upcoming Confirmation. There anme will be my middle name. I lke the anme Christiana, but does Christ count as a Saint? Or is there any other Saint's with that name? I need to write a full biography on them though, so I need information.

One of my grandparents died recently and my brother and I have been charged with sorting through his stuff. My brother has literally just come downstairs after sorting an old pile of boxes and has in his hand a Webley .455 service issue revolver, which I'd imagine would still shoot.

I know it was my grandfathers as he showed me it when I was a kid but I hadn't seen it in nearly 20 years until now. I'm pretty sure it fires and there is ammuntion with it.

What the hell do I do with the thing? If we got it deactivated (handguns are illegal in the UK) are they going to question how I walked in with a live handgun? If I handed it in to the police would I never see it again?!

My husband and I are having a marriage battle with eachother. I am 56 yrs old and he is 30yrs old. He feels he can have his group of friends including single women and lie to me (because I would not understand) and keep them hidden from me. As he knows all my friends and everything I do. What am I doing wrong? Is this alright in his age group? My kids are his age and they love for me to be around their friends. But he says I would not get along with his. Help me!

I don't doubt that God the Father is one and unique and Jesus the Son of God, that also unique, are Two separete and different individual entities. Don't you think that if we answer this questions trully we may can begin to esplain to our selves what about the existence of the Holly Spirt? Which I belived (the Holly Spirt), is of the essences of God the Father?.

There will be a new heaven and a new earth (2 Peter 3:13). The heavens is cleansed of evil and soon the earth will follow so both heaven and earth will be made new as in no more wickedness. Wickedness was in heaven (Job 1:6) until now when Satan and his demons were cast down to the earth (Revelation 12:7-9) But the earth will not be destroyed because God Himself will bring to ruin those who are ruining the earth (Revelation 11:18) for God did not make the earth for nothing (Isaiah 45:18) but to be inhabited. Wickedness will be forever cut off (Psalm 39:9-11)
Sickness and death banished on earth (Isaiah 33:24) (Revelation 21:4) (Psalm 37:29)
People will build houses and grow vineyards (Isaiah 65:21-22) eat benefit from the fruits of their labours. Further in Isaiah (65:25) even the wolf with be at peace with the lamb and the lion will eat straw like the bull.
But before that takes place we'll have critical times to deal with (2 Timothy 3:1-5) (2 Timothy 3:12) (2 Corinthians 4:4)

I live under the most annoying people in the world, if i was in my own country i would go up there and give them what for but they don't speak my language.they can't manage to pick their feet up when walking they are always shuffleing around always banging god only knows what they are building up there they have a new born baby which didn't annoy me at first but i think something is wrong with him when he cries he sounds like hes in pain. late at night u hear them filling up buckets. i did complain about them but nothing has got any easier so i started playing my music loud to drown out the noise but THEY complained about me! i don't think i'm being unreasonable i just want to be able have a bit of peice of quiet when i'm at home i work in a school so have to listen to 2000 kids all day.

I see people get upset at the running jokes on here like Jim Darwinism. I don't truly understand why. I respect all religions and the people that follow them. I believe people should live and believe as they choose. That doesn't mean I can't laugh at myself or at certain aspects of religion. There are those that try to offend others but I roll right by them and they are not part of my day. If laughing at some of the post on here isn't for you I would advise you to roll right by. Focus on the things on here that are a positive part of your day and leave the rest. What is your opinion? Have you ever laughed here?
