Which I belived (the Holly Spirt), is of the essences of God the Father?.

this question has nothing to do with the trinity, but I need it some imputs before I can explain the sound of the trinity and the security that we understand that Father and Son aren't every and all the time one, but only within the Trinity.

thank you.

I will love to discuss this a little longer, I think I admired your bases, and perhaps what I see could be a firm and strong foundation of a true doctrine and believed in the development of pure Faith in God. .

think of it like an egg...
an egg has a shell, a yoke and the white...
but all together it is an egg

Just like God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all God
They may be different entinties, but together they make up the one true God!

What you are discussing are two parts of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. If you will refer to Genesis: God says let US make man in OUR image.

I try to understand the Holy Spirit as the part of God that is so deep in my heart that when I am tempted, I get a check in my spirit that tells me to think again before I act.

If you can have your heart, your spirit, your intellect all rolled into one package, then why do you think that God and Jesus are two separate entities? If you will get into some serious Bible study, you will see that God came to earth in the form of man (Jesus) in order to keep His promise to us through the blood covenant He made with Abraham. Therefore, I believe that God, Jesus and the Holy spirit are one entity, the Trinity, the Triun God.

Oh, heck, it would take far more time and room than this space allows to try to get into an intelligent discussion about the Trinity.

Be blessed. I hope you find your answers.

It can be as simple as this....are you this body? is that all you are? when your body dies that is all of you and there is no part of you that goes on...You see we are created in the image of God first God made our flesh or body then he breathed ion a spirit and the two became a living soul...sound familiar sure it does because God said let us create man in our image and when he created us he created us in the image of the trinity....body spirit and soul....now was Jesus the one and only God? It is the same as asking are you just flesh and bone? Jesus is God and also is a part of the whole of God the same as your body is you and it is a part of the whole you....The father and the son and the holy spirit are all a part of the completeness of God...So yes Jesus was God and there is no other God....but he is a part of the wholeness of God...Yhe same can be said of you in a sense if your body dies your friend will say you died....but we understand that you will continue on your body is not all of you...bur it will not keep people from saying you died...and of course they will be both right and wrong.

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, which composes the Holy Trinity is One God , although three in person. Don't try to explain this with human logic, you can't. All you can do is speculate. God did not see fit to reveal the solution of this mystery to us. Even Pope Benedict XVI cannot explain this to you adequetly.

With respect, Jesus is NOT ALSO the one and only God.
He is(without the also), and was and always will be the one and
only God. He is from everlasting to everlasting.
Read Psalm 90;2 and John 1;1. As for the Trinity, no one will
understand it completely except the Lord Himself explain that
concept. Smarter men than me still ponder this question.
I Corinthians 13;8a Love never fails!!!!!

Regarding the Trinity- Yes alot of people struggle with this. Some people believe that they are three Gods. They are three seperate entities in one.
For instance: Cells have several different components; the nucleus, chromosomes, etc, etc. but they work together for a purpose. Think of God that way. They are three different for one purpose.

NO!
2JOHN 1:7
http://community.webshots.com/photo/1850...

Trinity is "A three-fold personality existing in one divine being or substance, the union in one God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three infinite co-equal, co-eternal persons as; one God in three persons.

The trinity concept came from PAGANISM-(paganism means no religious beliefs); here are a few sites that will tell you:

http://www.chipublib.org/shamrock/stpats...
http://www.faqfarm.com/q/who_was_st._pat...

There are 3 that protestants claim about the trinity; they're JOHN 14 & 15 and 1JOHN 5:7. To start out 1JOHN 5:7 was never in any of the inspired Greek manuscripts; so this knocks out one. As for John 14 & 15; the Greek word for "helper" is paracletos; one who helps inwhich points to the Holy spirit. In Greek, the word "He" is neuter such as "hand" is feminine whether it is a woman's hand or male's hand. As for the word "paracletos" it is masculine and always require a masculine pronoun. This however doesn't prove personhood as you've noticed.
But as you've noticed, these texts don't prove Jesus is God or the Holy Spirit.

I don't believe in the TRINITY! The Bible texts that I'm going to mention contradict the Trinity teaching.
MATT.12:32 "AND WHOSOEVER SPEAKETH A WORD AGAINST THE SON OF MAN, IT SHALL BE FORGIVEN HIM: BUT WHOSOEVER SPEAKETH AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST, IT SHALL NOT BE FORGIVEN HIM, NEITHER IN THIS WORLD, NEITHER IN THE WORLD TO COME."
JOHN 14:28 "IF YE LOVED ME, YE WOULD REJOICE, BECAUSE I SAID , I GO UNTO THE FATHER: FOR MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I."
1COR.11:3 "BUT I WOULD HAVE YOU KNOW THAT THE HEAD OF EVERY MAN IS CHRIST; & THE HEAD OF THE WOMAN IS THE MAN; AND THE HEAD OF CHRIST IS GOD."
LUKE 18:19 "AND JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, WHY CALLEST THOU ME GOOD? NONE IS GOOD, SAVE ONE, THAT IS, GOD."
****SEVERAL OTHER TEXTS SAY THERE'S ONLY TWO PERSONS:
1COR.1:3; 8:6; 1TIM.1:2; 2:5; GAL.1:3; PHILIPP.1:2; ROM.1:7; 2COR.1:2-3; 1THESS.1:1; 2THESS.1:2; 2TIM.1:2; PHILEMON 1:3; 1PETER 1:3; 2PETER 1:2; 1JOHN 1:3; 2JOHN 1:3.

Now touching on the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit is a power(Luke 1:35) where God and Jesus make their presence known in the hearts and minds of believers(1John 3:24). The believers of God and Jesus will have this love poured on them(Rom.5:5). It will teach them understanding and wisdom of God's Word (John 14:16,17,20,23,26. Jesus had the Holy Spirit in him when he made the lame walk and the deaf to hear and etc. (Luke 5:15-17). God works in our minds to give us strength to overcome (Gen.6:3). Other texts are: John 7:38-39; Rom.8:11,13-14,16 & Psalm 104:30.

Also why I don't believe in the TRINITY is because it says in the KJV that the false church will cast all the truth to the ground (Daniel 8:12). I happen to know this false church because all the world(Matt.7:13) has followed it (Rev.12:9; 13:3,12) except for one church (Acts 20:28).

Oh, I agree with you. Jesus is NOT God. Sure, there's Jesus, God and Holy Spirit. They are not equal in power and one in the same. (Jesus once said that we would do greater works than he - I know I am not more than God) Also, it says over 60 times that Jesus is the Son of God, not God the Son. The Bible says what it means very plainly.

The answer really depends on your faith and what it teaches. Some religions believe Jesus is the literal "son" of God. Others believe they are one in the same. And yet others believe he was just a great Prophet. What matters is what YOU believe and what makes you feel at peace and keeps your faith going.

there are scripture that state the trinity...as in when jesus was baptized....jesus is one....2. is the dove which was the holy ghost...3. the voice of the father from heaven proclaiming jesus his son. ...looks like three to me...three individual personages of flesh and bone..except for the H.G. ...that proclaim one ideal...that is where the confusion is..they don't understand the trinity...
