Hello DoubleR M.. :)
Salvation is a gift from the Lord..it cannot be bought or sold..it must be a sincere longing for forgiveness and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ..it is a matter of ones heart..by confessing your sins and asking forgiveness from the Lord..and asking Jesus to be the Lord of your life..
A heavy veil is lifted from your eyes, and the Truth is revealed..your Spirit is One with the Lord..There is no longer any doubt, that you have been set free from your past..for we are clean as white as snow.. :)
You have such Unspeakable Joy dwelling within..His Peace that Passeth all Understanding calms your weary soul..His forgiveness, is radiated toward all you meet..We become Witness's of His Love, Kindness, Gentleness and we become humble, putting others needs before that of our own..
We receive the Holy Spirit which is a Gift from God..teaches us all things..and comes alongside to help..Glory..Glory..Alleluia..
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ..

Well before you can become a christian you must ask Jesus to forgive your sins and realize that he gave His Son to die for you.
Salvation means enternal life in heaven after you die and sit at the right hand of jesus.
To be a christian is to life your life as you would think Jesus would today.
I am a christian and been for along time and also have some of the gifts from Jesus too.

The main thing is that it is about a relationship with God/Jesus not a religous thing. He died for our sins so we would not have to. When we ask God to be a part of our lives he becomes a part of our lives-- he wants a relationship with you. He loves us so much and only wants what's best for us. The act of Jesus dying for our sins and us accepting it is what salvation is. Then we begin the relationship. Being a part of a group of people who have also experienced salvation helps us to learn more about who God is and what he has to offer us.

Salvation means being forgiven of sin by the death and Resurrection of Jesus. To be saved means to be saved from eternity in hell.

"For God so loved the world, that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, shall have everlasting life." That's the definition of salvation.

Your interpretation might be different than others...Even in the Christian faith, there are numerous religions and beliefs.
Are you SDA? If you are, then what we believe "should" be the same. But then again, even in the same religion, people disagree...
