I think so, there is a Catholic school call Saint John (they pray every day). Saint John is one of those shcools you would find in the newspaper because of volunteer work. Southwood Middle School (my school), people brought guns 3 times and 2 knives this year. There is a fight everyday. At the old school i used to go to, we prayed and nothing bad really happened.

I myself have had the joy of hearing different "accents". Tones, pitches, lilting and almost singing voices. Some accents almost comical and some quite strange.
Yet I have over time refrained from asking about "accents". I think it can really put some people off. Plus it might seem as if I'm making a point about the difference between myself and them.

Do you like for others to point out your accent?

Raised in the South by parents transplanted from the North, I did not have much accent to speak of, and was quite comfortable that way. Now as an adult and having spent some time in the North, I get labeled as having an (admittedly slight) Southern Accent.

Is it silly for me to be put off by this? (it is a rarely done thing, as I really don't think it exists)
How do you respond to people who comment on your speech?

Do have other reasons why your speech is noticable, other than where you (or your family) originated from?

in a few of my last questions, one of the answerers here keeps giving me the same answer. that answer is "get a brain, get a life, get lost"

i won't mention his name, not because i value his privacy, but simpy because it would give him too much credits.

i mean, that answer is somewhat funny once, but to almost all my questions? wouldn't it be better if Yahoo just gave us the option to deny a person the 2 points ?

Believers in god say that the parents of these children (http://www.deism.com/harrison.htm) were to blame because they were misguided and didn't go to doctors that god supplied them. How can believers in god say that god gave us doctors, but, he didn't give us rapists and murderers also?

- You can't say because doctors follow the ways of god and murderers don't: there are Christian murderers and atheist doctors.

- You also can't blame Satan: Satan was created by god, which ultimately still makes god responsible for murderers and rapists if he is responsible for doctors.

You can't say that god gave us doctors and not murderers and rapists, that doesn't make sense.

I posted a question about gay marriages and my personal view and someone stated that most gay/les persons are not even religous so why do they want to get married anyway? Is this a crappy sterotype from a biggot or a stuidp question based in fact? I by the way am straight married with 2 kids... My mother is Lesbian and my husband and I raise our kids to have extreme tollerance for all people as God made everyone therefore deserving of His love and ours( the same way Mom raised me).

Where in the Book of books does it say that homousexual has anything to do with attacking humanity? It says that it is a detestable act against God sure, but NO WHERE does it say that it has anything to do with destroying the moral fabric of an entire country! I mean, is ther anyone who honestly thinks letting the gay have their rights is going to make their children gay, or make their family horrible people? What have the gaysdone to US that WE as humans should hate them? Many are devout Christians!

I believe there is no wrong religion, as long as it does not support hurt on others. I think it is so interesting how all religions support the same ideas and many of the same morals. I believe that's beautiful, and I am so happy to realize that. What are some of the similairities that you notice? I am Catholic but I love learning about other religions, not so I can convert, but so I can learn even more about mine, and all the things that different religions share. :)

If you live with three housemate,It wasn't any argue with all of them, one of them she doesn't talk to you one of them she talk to you like she want one of them if you and she alone she talk to you normal if they are in sometimes she talk to you, think you are living together to share everything.
