Always having the last word is a negative, just because you get the last word doesn't mean that the first word was the right word and when you are all ways gunning for the last word you tend to say something that you'll regret later or it'll just be something stupid. In all actuality since you know that you have that problem the people that you're getting into arguments are probably just allowing you to have the last word so that you can SHUT UP!!!!!!!

My sister always has to have the last word. It's really annoying and immature. I think it's a negative thing 'cause it can really piss people off sometimes. It could affect your relationship because people might get sick of you having to have the last word all the time and they might start not wanting to talk to you at all.

I don't mean to be offensive but I am under the impression that you are female.
If you are it's not your fault it's a gene buried deep within you.
All women are like that.
That's why when my wife and I argue, I say what I have to say and then tell her when your done arguing let me know who won.
