Left, then went back, then changed a little when where I was a member started drifting from the truth.

I have found that (for me) basic spiritual truths run throughout all 'religions'. It is just the dogma and doctrine that man has had to add that causes all this dissent, confusion, and dividing into newer 'denominations'. Bottom line is that we all face our beliefs and relationship with a 'higher power' as individuals. To NEED another person, or group to have agreement is really saying that God isn't enough. If you think about it we are all just 'points of view' for God, and the end of dividing up into more and more denominations (claiming to have the "only truth") ends with each one of us being our own 'religion' anyway!

I was raised catholic but joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints before graduating from high school. I had visited many churches during that time of searching and finally went to an LDS church. It has been the best experience of my life. I served a two-year mission and am now married with children.

If you are searching, try www.mormon.org. I also believe that God can guide you. James 1:5 states: If any of you lack wisdon, let him ask of God, that fiveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. I know that God answers prayers and that if you seek his guidance, you will find what you need.

Good luck. Contact me if you wish to discuss this further.

Well I'm seventh day adventist and I would reccomend it to anyone searching for a new denomination ( I assume you mean a denomination of Christianity) http://www.adventist.org/

basically we just follow the bible as it should be - not omitting parts or picking and choosing what we want to believe because it may be inconvenient. I have been one all my life and have enjoyed it.

Jesus? Use your brain for just a few seconds.

If Jesus died, he could have been God.

Do Gods die? Do they?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides a few hours was sacrificed?

What's the BIG deal?

David Blaine can almost do that.

Why be a Christian who has to accept this type of thinking?
