Everybody assumes that the people they are talking to are the same age they are. I'm not disagreeing with the fact that some of us are big-headed dumbasses, but a few of us aren't. It's just that without seeing the person we are talking to, sometimes it is difficult to realize that we might be talking to an adult.

I think it's because the Avatars make everybody look about 15.
Not to mention a lot of the answers coming from everybody are immature.

They can't be that self-centered??? I mean, I see screen names like Mom somebody, Old Man, etc. There are also questions that ask for people between 30 and 40 to answer.

"Teens" by definition know that they are the center of the Universe. Adulthood is when you realize this is not true, and your world falls to pieces if you are unprepared. So they assume you are like them.
I think it's sort of quaint.

I know...we dont all think everyone is the same age...come on, why be so judgemental. you could be 80 years old or 20, and i wouldnt know. nor would i "assume" you were a certain age.
