There is a tracking device in the new national I.D. card, scheduled to come out in May 2008. You will need this ID to board Amtrack, planes, and use national banks. (It is for our safety) Will you accept the card, or fight against it?

(google it if you don't know what i'm talking about)

Ok I am getting pretty sick of my friends telling me I'm Emo. Cause I am not, I hate that they sterotype everyone, and it's not like I shouldn't be friends with them because the majority of the kids at my school do it. I'm sick and tired of all this labeling and I want to be able to express myself freely, without hearing this crap. I guess I have some trace of being "emo" because I listen to all the music and wear eyeliner, but I don't wear all black, and whenever I wear anything black I get the comment, ohh you look emo today...

Sorry if it sounds like I'm nagging but I've kept it bottled up for a while.

I've been taking an incresing notice to this over the past few years. Is this the result of living in a very liberal, anti-white society (I'm referring to the culture in the USA).

With the ever growing statistics of black on white violence, are whites simply just afraid to fight back? Is America going to become the next South Africa? America's white population is currently at 67%.

It seems that vicious, savage black on white violence is constantly being overlooked, and in the rare cases when it is acknowledged, its somehow justified or seen as no big deal. No matter how openly racist or violently hateful they are, there is never any condemnation of their actions. Hollywood, The media and other institutions of the like always portray blacks as either being the victims or glamorized sexual icons or intellectual etc....a huge disparity with the reality of society.

After 50 years it is pretty clear that it isn't working and in some cases it has demonstrated itself to be VERY counter productive (e.g. Somalia). But instead of adopting a new policy strategy, we are told that only a 'few' more billions are needed, and nothing changes.

Why are people so willing to accept this, and how can the aid programs be improved to make them beneficial to people they are 'helping'?

Norms are the expectations that we have of each other and society. They exist because tradition exists. They are taught in the home, churches, social groups, etc. What is up with this mentality that "society is ever evolving" in the sense that we should be more "accepting" and "tolerant"? I mean, kids in school with shirts on reading "Gay? I'm cool with that" Or kids with swatzika's tattooed on their forearms. If this is "social evolution", we're screwed. It seems to me that those who tolerate and accept anything and everything value nothing. Agree? yes or no, and why. Only sensible people need reply.

And mainstream society believes that these Evangelicals are under the same spell....

Then who is right? And how can that be determined in a fair, impartial way?

Think about the issues - Homosexuality, Evolution, Stem Cell, NRA/Gun Ownership, etc. etc...

I know that everyone does not fit neatly into one box or the other... but there are some general ways that Evangelicals and Fundamentalists think about these issues...
