There is a tracking device in the new national I.D. card, scheduled to come out in May 2008. You will need this ID to board Amtrack, planes, and use national banks. (It is for our safety) Will you accept the card, or fight against it?

(google it if you don't know what i'm talking about)

Fight to the death against it. You've seen how they abuse the Patriot Act. The Bill of Rights has been watered down to the Bill of Suggestions. They cart peopl off without charges and hold them indefinately. Ask Randy Weaver or David koresh about Freedom. Once they have your ID they can come and get you.

Maybe a yellow star for our Jewish Friends

Find out just what people will submit to, and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them; and these will continue till they have resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed only by the endurance of those whom they suppress.

It has always been the fate of the indolent to see their rights become a prey to the active. The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt.

I would have no problem accepting it. I don't commit any crimes & could care less if the govt tracked me; they would be bored to tears.

I expect, tho, that there will be ample opportunity for fraud.

People who love freedom (liberals) will fight against it because the ID card is a threat to individual privacy and liberty. People who prefer authoritarian forms of government (conservatives) will welcome it.

I will accept it. I wish it wasn't a necessary evil, but we live in evil times. We must make it more difficult for our enemies to "hide" among us.
