In America,a person has a chance to work and save money and take care of their families in a less corrupt setting. Yes, it is safer here, and most people leave each other alone, and you can make money here that is the big draw for America. Opportunity.
Americans are a different story, most americans have that sense of entitlement, that the rest of the world is crap, and they are very self-absorbed. Therefore they are really ignorant and intolerant of others.(And they jump to the defensive if they think you're badmouthing anything about them or Amer.)

They only americans that don't have that" A s shole American "perspective is the immigrant who came here to make a better life for themselves and still knows thet there is a rest of the world out there and it's filled with good people

I think it has a lot to do with our indulgence in whatever we want. We are free but is that really a good thing. We have as many if not more problems as anywhere. And we think that we own the world. Personally, I understand the disdain others have for Americans. Maybe part of it is they wish they lived here and since they can't they are cynical. But I think that America has a lot to fix before we can be respected worldwide. My dad came over here from Europe when he was 18. He thought America was just incredible and amazing..and you can do whatever you want. He came over with nothing and now makes a lot of money. I think that is a lot of it. People want to come over for the opportunity but if they aren't able to, then they become judgmental about what they wish they could have.

people that say that america is great but the people are not are just stupid. the american people have made this country everything that it is . we decided to have all the freedoms that we have and to give those freedoms to all of our people.we learn from our mistakes and make amends. this country and every single person in it is absolutely great. we fight for this to be a nation of prosperity and to help the whole world. we have every right to earn and spend every dollar we make however we want to and anyone that thinks we do not deserve what we have as a nation can go on and leave or not come at all. we don't ask for millions of illegal people to ruin our name with all the hype that we get . and if you don't want the money you have earned here go ahead and give it away. no body is stopping you and that is my whole point

The biggest problem I have noticed is that there are plenty of people that complain about the US, but have never lived (and in some cases never even visited) anywhere else. It is a case of "the grass is greener on the other side of the fence."

The wording in your question is a little confusing... but just like a lot of Americans don't understand people and culture from other countries, a LOT of people from other countries and cultures don't understand Americans.

We place very high values on personal freedom, self-governance, and self-reliance. There are many people from other cultures that don't understand, or misinterpret that.

by the way:
We don't think God only blesses America, but when we say "God bless America" we are asking God to bless us. Nothing wrong with that. You should be asking God to bless your country too.

Because Americans are ignorant, no offense. You would think that because America is so great then the people are as well but they aren't. If you were an American that traveled for a vacation you would see that the attraction is catered to American needs and instead of the usual native language you would see English.

People say a lot of things about americans. I'm not sure why. They seem to us all judge by the same standards. Its pretty harsh if you ask me. And most of it is untrue. The common people of America (A.K.A. the ones you don't hear about) aren't anything like that.

Too much dogma and control in various forms that may not always be blatant and to much mind control for social issues
