Today's society? Well lets see, the vast majority of Americas adult population spent their school years playing Nintendo and learning how to imitate the fashion of whatever group of people they aspired to, just to fit socially. Soaking up all they needed to know from MTV. Inspired by bad behavior, which is expected if the girls are going to (respect you) ack.. sorry. So, I don't need social skills other than be able talk a convincing line of crap, and look pretty. So yes, your absolutely right, in today's society. It is a pity though.

Very important. Relationships are based on looks. Promotions and raises are based on looks. Getting service in a store or restaurant or whatever is based on looks. At least to some degree. If you are ugly, you can develop talents and skills that compensate and beautiful people can only suck so much before you stop caring about their looks but, being beautiful still helps.

You watch tv don't you?? It is forced down our throats on a daily basis. I believe it is one of the most important things in today's society. That and sexuality. Not that I even come close to agreeing with this....

Today beauty is crucial. Attractive people receive better service, get jobs more easily, get dates and marriage proposals or acceptances more easily. People give them a break more often.
The fact that fashion and plastic surgery are such big businesses confirms this.
Ideally, this wouldn't make a huge difference but it does.

That is pretty evident. We have beauty contests, we have pretty people game shows, we also have hotties in reality TV. Have you seen just 1 fugly in Fear Factor? And you never see truly ugly people in most movies. Especially romance and action movies. Ever since the beginning of man kind sex has sold and perhaps always will. Or at least in my generation.

(the face of a woman is a source of corruption for men who are not related to them) this is what they say but i say( don't judge a book from its cover).i mean she can be cute and lookin' like a million bucks but she behaves like a cat.and a cat can never be more loyal than a dog that is a man's true friend.
