Dating was never a priority for me when I was younger or in school and I also struggled with being painfully shy. Because I have not had much experience with dating and relationships and am just starting to enter the dating realm, I feel as if I am in the "high school" stage - the excitement, nerves, shyness, giddiness - because an interest has been taken. I'm in my twenties, and because I'm so inexperienced, I feel like an oddball. As you get older, should you tell your friends that you have a date and get all excited about it, or do you deal with it like a natural occurrence? How do you respond to young adults who don't have much experience?

Overall, what are your impressions of inexperienced, naive young adults just entering the dating field? Do you find them endearing, annoying, sweet, innocent, freakish...?

A realist will say if there was once a full glass and now it has been halfed then a realist will say that realistically the glass is half full. Likewise to a pessimist. So what's the difference?

What are people's opinion on this issue? Does poverty cause lack of education, or lack of education cause poverty? They're both true, but which is truer?

Hi, im a sophomore in high school who stutters. I have stuttered for as long as i can remember. Middle school was horrible for me. So many things to repress. Highschool has been better, but i cant stand trying to carry on a simple conversation and having it take long to get out one sentence. Trying to tell a 30 second joke and having it take 2 minuets. I have gotten a few classes of speech therepy, it helped to a certain extent. She said to relax when i talk. It helps a little, but if im in an argument or trying to read in front of class, its horrible. I've heard that in some cases, stuttering dies out as you get older. I dont know if thats true. Anyone know anything to help stop it completly, or to make it less noticible?

I don't necessarily believe that society is more secular nor that it's less secular but we have to write about the concept and then discuss it for 3000 words. You know, 'is it?,or isn't it?'.

I've asked questions on relationships, I'm sure we all have, or we've at least tried to answer some of these questions.
But the seemingly endless flow of repeated and odd questions in the singles and dating category is astonishing!
With Valentine's Day fever everywhere, we all lose some of our cowardice, and take the big leap, we ask someone out. But, why, why are we so afraid of other people, and their reactions?
There are many stereotypical answers to this question, but what is YOUR personal opinion on it?

If human beings wore some sort of encasement that protected them from UV rays, germs, and violence, would that not create a better society? It would also stop racism as you would not be able to know the race of another person on the street or in the stores. The encasement would only come off at home with family or with people you have gotten to know with it on. It would be a great way to see how you chose your friends. You'd have nothing but the personality to go on. What do you think? Am I just nuts?

Anything thats been puzzling you lately?

Okay I admit it, so I used that headline to catch your attention and check out the real question, it’s not really relevant at all. It’s a cheap trick, I know, some will say ruthless. I have a feeling I’m gonna get a lot of sh*t for it, but that’s a chance I’m willing to take. But you’re here now, so isn’t it worth checking out my question and giving it a shot?

The question is, what’s the biggest obstacle/hardest thing you’re having to deal with lately?

How do you plan to solve it?

this is too personal for quite a few people to answer publicly, I understand. I authorize you thereby to give me sh*t for it if you’d like.

I’ll start with me. The hardest thing I’ve been dealing with lately are some financial and self-esteem slumps. I’m currently applying for scholarships to get me through schooling, so that I have a shot at better jobs and greater things. I’m expecting a lot out of going back to school.

I love going barefoot, and I sometimes walk barefoot down my street wearing only a T -- shirt and a pair of cutoff blue jeans . Would YOU be willing to put on a T -- shirt and a pair of cutoff blue jeans and walk barefooted down the street ? One rule I have is that everyone who sees you has
to be able to see that you're barefooted . Would you walk down the street barefooted ? How many of you have actually done this ?
