I never heard about "Doomsday Clock" up to now.

This concept refers to the Mankind auto-destruction probablity (for example, with an atomic catastrophe)

Doomsday Clock has being fluctuating through time. Sometimes it was 9 minutes to midnight, in other time it was 17 minutes.... now it is 5 minutes to midnight...

Is Doomsdat Clock like Microsoft Windows countdown clock (sometimes it left 3 minutes, the next minute it left 20 minutes, the nest minute it left 7 minutes...)?

Im curious about something. See when I was growing up, my dad always put me down by saying that I hung out with people younger then me. For example I would be 13 and have friends that are 11 or so then 14 years old, have friends that are 12. Now I'm 26, and feel that all my friends have to be my age or older. I hang out with people in their 40's and feel comfortable, and it seems that society is ok with it. Now if I want to live in a college dorm, they people would look at me funny and say that people in dorms ages are from 18-20, so why would you hang out with people like that? I'm like is there a big difference? My question is why do people look down at others who are friends with people who are younger?

Also it seems like the more conservative someone is, the more likely they would do this.

Since middle school, I have been an A student by the book kinda guy, but now in high school, sometimes I want to be like the "cool" people who cut class and have greeaaaat social relationships!! Everybody loves them!!! And they have this thing about them!! Like the way they talk or walk!! It's driving me crazy! Sometimes I want to be in their place...Don't get me wrong, in my country(Kuwait) Smart people are not treated bad like in America on the contrary, everybody likes them. But sometimes I want to be like them.....What can I do to upgrade from "Normal" to "cool" level???
And another question: Sometimes, I feel like a very serious person and sometimes I feel the exact opposite!!! How can I know what my personalty really is?? Thanks!
