Heaven is in a parallel universe. Scientifically based on something called the string theory. Your soul is released from your body when your brain dies. It is true what they say about a tunnel with a light at the end.
Hell is actually in Heaven. The Wall of Hell In Heaven: Hell is much worse then ever imagined. Your stuck in a wall of tar with others for eternity looking at the glory's of Heaven (a Better Place).

I believe Heaven or Hell is a place we share on Earth. We have the ability to either live well, treat eachother right, live in peace, and live selflessly and create Heaven on Earth, or to continue living selfishly, with goals of making money and gaining power and create Hell on Earth.
On an individual level, it is what you make of your life. Much like the way we must all treat eachother on Earth to create Heaven on Earth, individually people need to live this way to create a Heaven for their soul. If a person lives selfishly, becomes filthy rich, he may think he has reached Heaven, but he will never have his soul.

I imagine the Heaven of the afterlife as exactly like this world, only perfect. I think people retain their identities and the relationships they had in life, but that God's presence is tangible everywhere and all the time.

The only true authority we have to tell us of this is the Bible. Eye has not seen nor ear heard it hasn't even so much as dawned on man what heaven is like, what God has prepared for those that love Him. Read the Bible.

You know, what i don't have all this scientific observations to determine whether or not heaven does exist, but I will tell you it must be heaven, from the hell and chaos that goes on in this world. And that my friend is coming from experience.
