Technically, since UFO stand for Unidentified Flying Object, the answer is definitely yes. Throughout history people have seen objects in the sky which they have been unable to identify. If you are asking whether these unidentified objects are alien space crafts, the answer is subject to huge debate. On one side are those who claim that UFOs are not uncommon at all; it is often suggested that evidence of them is hidden from the public and that flimsy excuses (atmospheric conditions, weather balloons, swamp gas) are given to account for what people have seen. On the other side are those who say that there has never been any conclusive evidence of extraterrestrial spacecraft on earth. I suspect the debate will continue for some time.

Yes, there are such things as UFOs. It means unidentified flying object. Anything that flies no matter what if it can not be readily unidentified is classified as one. The federal government has a study on this. Most have been later identified as classified plane projects done by the government. As far as visitors from outer space? I don't know, but it would be fun to be visited.

Literally, yes. Since a "UFO" is a Unidentified Flying Object, anytime you see an object flying through the air and can't identify it, it's a UFO.

As for flying saucers, if I ever get down to Roswell and find out for sure, I'll let you know.

what you are thinking of by u.f.o. is a flying saucer right. in that case no. but that is not what u.f.o. stands for. u.f.o. stands for unidentified flying object. it is a military term used to describe an unidentified aircraft.
