Damn, I must be completely out of the loop here
I am a white man and I have never heard this term before in my life !!! Someone isn't getting this info to me in due time or something here !!
And, as far as this "socially constructed" thing---most social structures that I am aware of has had full blown participation from the black community now for some forty-five years or better !! So, how could THEY be in support of something such as this ??
And, this "quality that whites have over 'colored people' "-----what the hell IS THAT ???

You are speaking in matters that I am shocked that I have no knowledge at all of---and I AM a fairly informed human being !!!

Life has socially constructed everything. Whiteness is a stereotype or a racist comment, people need to lighten up and stop caring about racism. It's not a big deal if you love who you are and respect yourself then it should mean nothing. It only becomes a problem, when your scrutinized in public or physically hurt.

Most of the time those comments are used to bring down someone or as a joke. It's no different than a curse word in reality because the people that only use it, really don't respect you and not refering to everyone in your culture, if so, are your best buddies with everyone in your culture? It really shouldn't matter.
