Great question. I know of course where Id go, with me being the idealist romanticly insane kind of girl I am. Id go back to the time I know I met the one guy over any other I felt was THE best and the one I could spend eternity with and not get tired of. An undeniable love which seemed larger than life which is the reason it seemed soo scary. My true twin flame romance which happended ironically enough just like the movie the Notebook. God I miss it and Ive missed it every day since and I still dream about it coming back to me, its only been a little over a year but a guiltless, most painful struggle ever since it ended. Im still dreaming of the day it comes back into my life which I know it will because to be without hope over something that important to me, would be like dying a slow, strenuous death.

I would go back to 200-300BC. It was a time where a man could make a living for himself because of his skills.
Failing that, the 1940;s or 50's. A time when a man or a woman was judged on her character, not on how much money they have or who their relatives are.

As far back as I can, it seems the further we go forward the worst things get, so I would want to go back to simple times, when you could live off the land, raise families, and not be tied by the lives we create in this day and time. 14th century most likely, when romance was favored, and men were honorable.

I would go back to 1922 and go over to London with Michael Collins and tell the Brits to shove their treaty up their back sides and hopefully would have saved a lot of lives in the future and Ireland would be probably united today

I am with ynotgayle, I would want to go back to the times of Christ and find out if everything they wrote about him 70 years after his passing was true or just fabricated.
I also love the idea of going back to cave times too just to see what the world looked like before civilisation buggered it up.
If I were being greedy I would like to go back in time and buy up property and will it to myself in the future..lol

Let's first say that "going back in time" is just as an observor without being able to change anything.
I'd love to say something profound like going back to witness the crucifixion... but since I cant change anything....it'd kinda be a waste of time.

Would like to have gone back to just before my mom died. She was ill a long time but, no one knew she was gonna die. We all thought she was supposed to be getting better. So, I would go back to tell her goodbye cause I never had the chance :(

I would go back to the 1960's. There were so many historical events, and cultural changes that went on during that decade. It has always fascinated me.

Assuming I can come back later on, I'd give the 'cavemen' a visit. I'd also take my iPod, TV, PlayStation and similar and try to teach them how to use them. Always has been an interesting thought to me.
