at this point in your life now would you say it is fate everything from the person your with to where you live to your job or is it the choices you made along the way cause and affect.If it is by choice why can't you always see the affect of the choice you made ahead of time.

It seems every-where you go people are doing things that seem pleasurable to me and expecting sponsorship eg. cycling across America (and I'm not talking about Jane Tomlinson) Surely it is about suffering putting yourself through something to actually feel like you've earnt the money like holding your breath for five minutes.

...Judge others (especially those that they do not know.) Come out in the end of their accusations having given away a few secrets as to the very things, that they themselves are, and hide?

I believe that...

"We try and mirror what we love, and reflect what we despise and accuse in others."

I for one believe that in the very act of judging anyone, you give away all of your (well hidden) problems and secrets!

"You are, first and foremost, what you accuse in others!"

Anyone else agree on a philosophocial or psychological level?

Any one know of any studies or theories (with a title) that back this? (Besides the Bible)

Why is saying "n" word ending with A more acceptable then "n" word ending with ER?
I hear non-blacks call blacks "n" word ending with A all the time. They seem to not mind.

chomsky says that there is no alternative to rationality. but what if this ideology priviledges one type of thinking and 'ways of thinking' are independantly developed. i'm not saying behaviourist, i'm kind of saying poststructurlist - but how can you investigate they way that people think if you don't reduce everything to norms and you just want to explore thoughts and regularities in what appears to be a disfunctional use of language (i.e. schizophrenic writing)

Are there double standards in America? Between gays and straights, blacks and whites, females and males? Jews and Christians?

It seems me, as a straight white male protestant, find the bane of double standards a part of every day life.
