Why is saying "n" word ending with A more acceptable then "n" word ending with ER?
I hear non-blacks call blacks "n" word ending with A all the time. They seem to not mind.

That's a very difficult question and one where you will get mixed answers from both "races". I quote that because we are all the same race believe it or not. I am not racist by any means but I will on occasion use the 'n' word very openly, and I have only one reason to do so. That is as you said in your question black people accept it and I say it with an 'a' or an 'er' at the end. I believe that if black people do not want white people referring to them in this way they need to stop it themselves. I hear them use the word when speaking about themselves constantly. It's in their music and in their everyday talk. I would not use that word when speaking with a black person who does not wish to hear that word, but the moment I would ever hear them refer to themselves as it, I won't stop using it, and I have done this is the past. The only way the racist name calling will ever stop is if they stop using it themselves, and black people need to realize this. Jewish people use to be offended by being called 'Jews' as being an ignorant slang word, now its used everyday in the news, and on TV. The same thing will happen with the 'n' word all it's going to take is a judge who refuses to order racial harassment restitution for the exact same reason I just mentioned. The word will be eliminated, which is doubtful, or it will turn into a common and acceptable word.

I hear some girls calling each other "B***H" sometimes, especially at younger ages, and I woulnd't want to call a friend that way nor be called that way either. Although I do not agree with it's usage, I guess it's a show of intimacy, some sort of a mark of closeness. Same with the N word. But no matter who is saying it, to me, these are offensive. Also, a white person saying it makes it more offensive I think, because it highlights differences rather than closeness and similarity.

black people understand and shaare the pain felt by the n word and though they do sometimes call each other that, it is usually with an a once it is ER it becomes more serious. This is especially when used by not only whites any other ethnic background.

i call all my black friends that
sometimes i call them n****er

and to the girl who said they get promoted because of their skin color, sometimes they would have deserved it but was deprived of it and when affirmitive action came along it prettty much took it away. Racism is NOT over. Believe me

African Amercians talk to each other using the "N" word all the time. But if a person from a different background calls them the "N" word, they get all upset and start the "are you racist" talk. So who's fault is it that the word is still being used today? If the African Amercians really find the "N" word offensive, they wouldn't be saying it to each other.

I have heard black people use the "n" word 50x more than white people.

I know some older black people that are ticked at the young blacks because they feel the young are wasting what they worked so hard to achieve.

They can call each other whatever name and other races what ever names they want and are not called racist. Try calling one that ends in a and see what happens.

Eh they say it because they think they are black. Or really wanna be. If they were just ghetto, instead of a wanna be, they wouldnt say it. Some people just try to hard to be what they are not.

i think the "N" word nowadays is associated with "mate" or "buddy". I think it depends how you use the word. If you're having a feel-good time with your buddies, then i guess it's fine. But if you're pissed off with a black person, N word has already different meaning..

because that's another plus they have for being black... along with getting job for their skin color, getting promoted in the military because they have more points for being that way and so on.... its that AMERICAN FREEDOM everyone wants... the white man is the only one without it, how messed up is that.... AND YEAH YOU KNOW ITS TRUE!!!!!

I'm not racist but things like that do bother me.... at this point we want equality, that's all
