Hi all,

I'm a bit of an introvert who's not good at socializing. When I'm in a group where there're some people who talk fastly, I can't usually catch up and talk with a sense (I talk nonsense more than anyone else; while some other time I just respond with whatever typical that makes sense to avoid causing weirdness to the people I'm talking to and pretend I'm following well BUT actually I'm totally empty of ideas inside), unless I'm very very high and determined in it (but still I would be uncomparable to their level). Yes I get distracted pretty easily too.

I would like some techniques (or any suggestion) on thinking and reacting faster, since I sincerely want to improve that...

- I wanna be someone who can make decisions on my own instead of just following the better people's orders or will.

- I wanna be someone who speak his own mind, voice his opinions, BUT how can I do if I don't even have the "mind" nor the "opinions" now..

the bank has given me 30 days notice as they are closing my account without a reason.
how do i get them to give me a valid reason?
they say that they dont have to give me a reason
and the the financial ombudsman services said the same thing that they dont have to give a reason for their decision

i have been overdrawn in my account only once in the 4 months that i had the account and i cant understand why they would do this to me?

can anyone help?
any advice?

People will say, "then you haven't got the right job etc.", but that's not entirely true; whatever job you may do, as glorious as it may be (sarcasm), it still becomes dreadfully monotonous and a routine. I adore tennis for example, but if I played tennis 9 hours a day for the rest of my life, I would surely get sick and tierd with it! The same analogy applies in this instance. I once read a famous chinese proverb: "He who says he likes work, hasn't worked a day in his life". I think that's very well put. Besides, does it really make sense that nearly 1/2 of your life is spent caged in an artificial environment. Work is a form of slavery, the only diference is, you get paid for it! What's more, no - you don't have choices, if you chose not to work, you will starve and be homeless. So it's a choice between A and B!

There's almost one year they moved in and since the first day they drove me crazy. The child runs and jumps all the time, all day long, they drop things, havy ones, they walk like animals. I tryed to talk with them, they were rude. I asked the landlord many times to talk to them, I called the police but they can do nothing about walking havy. The landlord is doing nothing. Cannot afford to move out and I do like my place.I've been here for eight years. By law, how can I get the landlord to do what he has to? Can I pay rent in court till he solves the problem? Can I sue him for renting the apto. upstairs to people with a child? Or, by law, what can I do. Instead of helping me, the landlord quit picking up my calls and is ignoring me. I never before complained about anything. Besides the noise, every time they take a shower or bath, the water cames down on my bathroom, in my towels, bathtub and toilet seat. Literaly my bathroom pees on me. There's a hole in the ceiling covered with mold

Aren't people what make swear words swear words? Now people use them like they're not. People decide what the swear words are, so they change through time. It's not like there's some Bible or Constitution that officially determines timeless swear words. I mean, in the old days, "devil" used to be a curse word as in "who the devil are you?" Now it's not. Do you think the same with "f*ck" and "sh*t" because now people use them as regular words- so do you think they'll officially become no longer profane and some new swear words will come along?

I'm going on my first date this sat with a 13 yr old boy. Its a triple date. My friend Kathy is taking his twin brother, my other friend Michelle is taking another boy I know named Jamie. We asked the boys. We are going to the Y back to school dance than to starbucks than one of our parents will take us home. My grandma said girls had to wait for a boy to ask them out.
