I have been communicating with a guy who is deployed to Iraq. He can home on leave by surprise this past Monday. We had a really detailed conversation. We both have one child each. We both have been divorced once. He asked me if I was thinking about getting remarried, and I said not really. He also asked me if I was interested in having more children, and I said sometimes. I told him I would be a better girlfriend at this satge of the game, and he said he thought I would be a good wife because I am very supportive with his military career. I have a career also. The part that tripped me out is he said that he really wasn't sure if he had the energy to invest in a serious relationship, but he wasn't referring to me particularly. He also said that relationships take time. I tried to read between the lines but I don't think this guy is trying to tell me he's not interested, but I really THINK he is scared that this relationship might last. What do you think?

We all have goal by then we hope we have acived them . What do you think ppl really feel about you . We judge ourself so but wouldnt it be nice to see how ppl see us that we dont see

I am not looking for a yes or no answer; nor am i looking for your opinion about what you think about people who DO seek out therapy.

Just tell me your story--stuff like how old you were at the time (even how old you are n-o-w if you want), what your isuues were (or issue), and if you felt that you were helped.

I am not asking you to tell me names (yours, your therapist or anyone else involved with this) OR where you are from.

Just YOUR story.

BTW, no judgement on my part, I am just interested in what makes people " tick."

if you know the answer you know the philosophy -one to which I adhered for many many years. I no longer do however, since the rug can be pulled out from under you at any time in life. You might not be in the position to fix things with help and a lot of support.

Why do they makes us bug out and think there's gonna be a disaster?! I'm sick of people buying so much gas there's not enough for everyone else! damnit!! Then to top it all off, you go to the grocery store to get something dumb like a toothbrush and you have to wait in line for an hour cause everyone has to buy water and batteries and crap!

I think the whole "yuppy" is a awful stereotype. Just because you work a nine to five does not make you a bad person. i do not judge others because they choose a different life than I do. Why is it that when my friends and I go downtown, we get snarled at by folks who whisper things under their breath. This is not fair at all. I am a young Afro-Amer professional male...I'm a rarety, but I am getting treated like the "man" himself. I did not create the system that you fell a victim of, don't blame me buddy.

Sorry to rant, but its the mid week hump, I am actually dreading going downtown because of the image I am being portrayed in....When did it become wrong to be successful....I am very concious and very liberal, I just am also successful..how is this a bad thing??

Through my several encounters with having a brother and male friends. I have noticed that they like to touch either ex. wrestling, "tickling," headbutting. One afternoon I walked in our living room and my brother and his friend were rolling around on the floor doing what looks like wrestling. It seems normal for males, but if girls did this it would be considered odd. I know they are not gay because my brother has had numerous girlfriends. Does it go back to ancient times where the male species would try to size up to the other like competition or are they really exhibitng gay behavior?

Also, tell me how old you were when you had this particular job.

I find as I get older each job becomes my favorite. I am not sure why, but perhaps it is because I can now take jobs that would not have been offered to me when I first started in the work world. In other words, I have more choice in where I work and at what I do.
