Following the history of Western culture, it has gone from the extremely religious Middle Ages to the extremely secular now.

We had the Renaissance, and the humanist who shifted the focus onto mankind and his achievements.

We had the Scientific Revolution which brought us new understanding about the nature of the universe and new technologies came from that.

We had the Enlightenment which changed our beliefs about governments and the nature of man's existance.

We had Industrialization which eventually lead to heavy urbanization and the increased availability of consumer products and luxuries.

We had the 60's which brought increased acceptability of many ideas including feminism, civil rights, and liberal attitudes.

We're currently having the Information revolution with the Internet.

What is there left to do? It seems like we can only now regress.

two of my friends live in another place so i hardly see or talk to them. 1 friend went to another school. i got in a fight with nother friend then she moved. 1 friend got held back so i never see or talk to her. 2 friends moved. 1 is moving in 3 weeks. i dont talk to one because... well i dont know why. we just stopped talking. so now i have 2 friends left. 1 is a friend of a friend and the other might be moved up a grade. i want more friends but its not as easy as it looks cuz some b*tch started a rumor that i was gothic and pratciced voodoo even though almost everybody at my school is too ignorant to know what they mean they assume they are bad. now whenever someone comes up to talk to me they ask if im gothic or do voodoo then leave. what do i do??? please help.

she's 24 years old and I'm 18 years old. She is the cutest, the kindest and the most gorgeous girl I've ever met.
she just finished college, I'm starting college next monday, we've been living together for about two weeks (dating 6 months) but I just don't feel like getting married, I feel like I need more time, I only want to marry once and for the right reasons. What do I do?
