I think the real cultural depreivation is to be detached from own culture. But culture is always there as a shadow with us both in conscious and uncounscious level of the mind. This is how human behaviours are guided by the culture. Either you leave your mother culture or not you cannot escape from the culture. Definately you will have success if you try anywhere and anytime while you go on developing new culuture with the help of the culture. However, for the identity and save your face, you need your mother culture.
