i like it..if i have to choose a name I would choose it..what do you think?

Yes it's beautiful and I love it. It brings back warm memories of my grandmother who was a wonderful story teller. She had made up stories about a little girl named Kathleen and this girl had all sorts of funny and exciting adventures and I remember that I loved her telling me about her and I used to dream away about me being Kathleen and having all those adventures that she was having.

I think so...but it took me years to like it. My mom chose it because she heard a nurse singing the Irish folksong "I'll take you home again, Kathleen" while she was being wheeled to delivery. She realized she had always loved the song (it's lovely, check it out) and decided if she had a girl, she would name her Kathleen. So, that's my name. I didn't like it in high school and insisted that my friends call my kathy, but now I use kathleen and like it - especially because my mom liked it so much. And it's a bot more unusual, unexpected than Katherine.

Yes I think it is it's a name that I could chose myself also because it not only sounds beautiful but it's also a beautiful name to see written down. It's also a beautiful name for the head character in a book or for a leading part in a play.

I like it...another interesting spelling of it is Kathlene. That was my grammie's name =)

hmm...I don't mean to hurt your feelings or anything but I don't like it. But that's just my opinion so I guess it will sound nice to other people but to me it doesn't
