Who is at more of an advantage growing up? The early bloomer or the late bloomer? My friend and I were debating this. We are opposites as far as puberty is concerned. I hit puberty at 13. I am almost 15 now and still wearing a training bra and hardly have any pubic hair. No hips no nothing. Changing in gym class is a terrible experience. I hate swimming. Boys treat me like their little sister. I look like a 5th grader and i've had to watch helplesslyas my friends grow breasts and get periods and everything back in 5th and 6th grades. As a result, my self esteem is completely shot.

My friend argues that she had it worse, because she had started getting breasts in the 3rd grade and had her period in the 4th. She hated being the only girl in her class wearing a bra. She was a busty 12-year-old. It was very hard on her. She tells me how lucky I am that i don't have to deal with a period every month. But with her everyone else eventually caught up. So I think she was better off. Thoughts?

I remember when my father was telling me how to fly a kite and it would always stray away from us. I used to run after it and try to jump because I thought I could catch it. And he would just look at me and smile, he thought it was funny.

I remember when my father used to take me and my little sister to the beach and we'd ride our bikes on the tracks and ride to the cheesecake factory and eat there Sometimes, my cousin would go.

think they are special enuff to have a 'congressional black caucus' and many other organizations as well? why dont we have a 'white congressional caucus'? dont those blacks who are members of those organizations realize they are deepening the divide between themselves and the rest of the usa by making a separate group only for their color? it doesnt advance their cause; on the contrary it keeps racism in the forefront of our society. people are people right? white, black, brown, yellow, it doesnt matter....we are PEOPLE. duh

I live with both of my parents. But my mom has told me this
No matter what the mother does the child will still love her the same and that the mom will always love the child. There is no bond greater than mother to child. I asked her what about father and she said it's just not the same. Hm...I've heard this before too. What do you think?
I feel a greater bond between me and my dad, BUT I can go longer without talking to my father and not feeling guilty than to my mother.

Conversations with women seem to drag out forever about nothing. Useless information about food, likes, dislikes. I am hoping that because I am young I have no patience for this and falling asleep during a conversation is normal. Does this ever stop? This is really not meant as a flame.

My daughter is 3. Separation anxiety is a big problem. She cries and throws up. I signed her up for 3 yr old pre school. Is there any info on if a child could be damaged mentally from being thrown into this and being allowed to cry it out? Is it recommended that they wait til age 4?

At least once a week I receive several emails of winnings. I think they are scams. Most of them have serveral typos and tell you not to tell anyone. Plus, they mention that you have to pay for certificate fees and insurance based on laws of that country. There is a lottory in the UK. How can tell the difference from the true ones?
