You might appear aloof and unapproachable to others. That's the way people always see me, too. Are you shy? Sometimes we put up these fronts as a cover-up. It's a way of preventing rejection. If you don't let people get to know you, then you are preventing rejection by never letting people in. The only problem is it usually backfires, and you end up even more rejected. Let people know you, what your interests are...ask them how their evening was last night...get them talking about THEMSELVES. THAT always works! haha People love to talk about themselves. Yeah, yeah, do that! Good luck....

Maybe they meant that you are hard to communicate with. Getting to know someone would require spending time with them, conversing and sharing with them. If communication is not handled properly then people are left to their incomplete concepts and that my friend is never a good thing. It might also be that they are intimidated by you and they are not open enough to the getting to know you, and so, once again, they are sent off half ******. I don't know what an answer would be to ensure that someone wouldn't be saying things prematurely, as people are so opinionated anyway that there is usually nothing, on your part, that would make a difference. Wow, now I feel SO sad. I'm sorry for the gloom.

Because they see you as they are who they are, according to their interests, fears .... They see you doing what you do and say what you say about their life history not yours. They don't see peace in you. People don't have peace in them, so what are you going to do about that. You gotta share tolerance for difference; that's the price of freedom.

Maybe you are not letting anyone get to know you, and thats why they are saying you are hard to get along with.

maybe they think you act like you're stuck up or something, and they've made a decision about you without really knowing. or maybe you really are, and they've picked up on it. think about how you behave with people, and if you're sure it isn't you, don't worry about it. if maybe it is you, make an effort to be nicer.
