A douche bag is a piece of equipment for douching: a bag for holding the water or fluid used in douching. The term douche bag can also be used as an insult.
Terms such as shower pocket, douchebag, d-bag, DB or simply douche are popular terms of insult or ridicule in Canada and the United States. The slang usage of the term dates back to the 60s. Initially, it was used to insult a woman, however, over time it has become a term mostly used to refer to men. The word has been used consistently over the years, but has gained particular national popularity in the early 21st century with usage on shows such as The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, Family Guy, South Park, Mission Hill and Saturday Night Live.
The word has a wide array of meanings, and is often used interchangeably with the words like jerk, asshole, poser, wannabe, and doofus.
It is often used to ridicule a person who acts as if he is better at something than he actually is. For example, a guy who dresses up like a basketball player, but is actually a horrible athlete would be more likely to be called a douchebag than a person who makes no pretense of being good at basketball, but is just as bad at sports.

It's a slang term for someone who smells bad. A douche bag is an old fashion item, something a lady used to clean out the inside of her vagina, usually after her menstrual cycle or sometimes after sex. They don't make them anymore. Most women found that they'd dry you out and pure water works just fine.
My mother had one and we used to fill it up like a balloon and squirt it all over the bathroom when we took our baths. She became furious when she found out what we were doing.

I'm guessing someone called you this. Its an insult. The liquid that a woman flushes into her vagina to clean is stored in a duche bag.

women use them to clean their "area"..they are said to be bad and really nobody should use them but some women smell bad down there and feel its neccessary......can also be used as an insult to a man or woman..not a good gift idea for your girlfriend :)
