Same crime and still on probation, he will sit twice as long as he did before. Why does he rob, gambling problem, meth addict, there has to be a reason other than money itself. Distance yourself from this person for good, if he /she cant find employment or a career or just does not want to work, what good is to be close to this person. Dont be fooled by a con, 1 time is excusable, but if a person goes to prison more than once they are a real problem, so stay away.

If your friend gets convicted a second time he will be sent back to prison for parole violation and finish the original sentence plus an additional sentence for the second robbery. Don't hang around this person again , you may wind up an unwitting accessory to a crime he may commit in your presence.

Stop hanging around losers. That's how you deal with it. Your friend is a loser... didn't learn the first time. Don't you get it? Have you ever been arrested or have you committed crimes? If you have not, why are you hanging around this person... If you have, you should straighten your life out and stop hanging around this person.
Get better friends. There are plenty of decent people who will be your friend...
Your friend needs a better support person, say a professional, maybe a lawyer. Or maybe needs to be in rehab... or maybe prison is the best thing for him/her.
You need to walk away. Think of your own life... and be done with it.

Convicted once can be considered a bad choice. Doing the same thing AGAIN is habitual and you need to walk away. Concern for a friend only goes to the point where they are using you to make themselves feel better about being an idiot.

I couldnt tell you exactly what would happend again but it would be more than 2 years i wouldnt say ditch the friend becasue he still or she still needs someone there for them, Why they choose to do this is beyond me.. But i have someone close to me very close to me, and he has done way worst. His life has changed by me being there for him and showing him that theres more to life.. I also have a friend that i have been friends with years hes been trouble for many but you dont give up on your friend just make sure you make the right choices for yourself and not to be involved with anything they do a friend a good one wouldnt bring you down with them

get friends who don't break the law

the friend needs to lead a "clean" life, because if there's a "next time", it'll be more than 2 yrs

Find some better friends, or you are likely to get involved in these types of behaviors or you will drain all your energy on their negative problems................

i know he's your friend, but its time to limit your communication with him. it may seem insincere, but if you hang out alot, your rep in life will go drastically down. and he should respect that.
