Conversations with women seem to drag out forever about nothing. Useless information about food, likes, dislikes. I am hoping that because I am young I have no patience for this and falling asleep during a conversation is normal. Does this ever stop? This is really not meant as a flame.

Aw man lol. Wow, it is because we like to talk. We like to vent. I really cannot explain it. I'm not a talker unless I know that one really wants to talk. And I think likes and dislikes are a great thing to talk about as long as you're not talking about only yours. It doesn't stop. ^_^ I definitely don't give useless info when I talk though, you just meet bad talkers. Not all of us give useless info. Good luck.

Also, I was sitting here and thinking and silence to me and to us = uninterested, not comfortable. It's awkward. :) And for the woman that said men do not have anything intelligent to say, YES they do, men are very intelligent [not all], that's one thing I love about them. I've had more intelligent convo's with man than woman.
Hmm maybe you just don't like to talk?

Because women relate in different ways then men do. Discussing what seem to you to be inane and trivial things is a way to bond and find a common ground. It won't stop. It's the way we're wired.
As far as falling asleep during conversations, you should drink more coffee or something, because you're not going to get far with anyone if you can't stay awake for a simple conversation.

So far, it hasn't stopped. I'm glad I'm not the only one afraid of this. I'm even for afraid that as time progresses, it'll get worse. Women will start attacking men with useless sport info about the team the guy hates the most. God help us all.
