While other races tend to scurry to the other side in an apologetic manner, especially if they cross when the light is turning green? Meanwhile, African Americans take their time.

This question is NOT meant to incite an argument nor am I racist but I would be interested in knowing if this is a cultural thing or some kind of "stick it to the man" gesture, as one of my friends suggested.

I live in a high pedestrian area and African Americans tend to cross the street in front of my car while the light is green, too! Expecting me to stop. Which, of course, I have to.

I would like some intelligent responses, thank you.

do people people truly like everyone? or just the other people who act like they do?

they certianly use their attitude to make it look like they are friendly with the whole world. but i never get along with these type of people and i always feel like its my fault.

sure, everyone gets along with people who are like them. just like these "people people". so... are they REALLY people people or just people with a different attitude and they can use that attitude as a cop out to say that anyone who doesnt like them has something wrong with them?

Would you rather be more beautiful or more intelligent?

You can't be both.

Meaning: You can't use your intelligence to make something to become beautiful... and you can't use your beauty to exploit someone into educating you. In other words choose one or the other.

Why? I'm curious which people would choose if given the opportunity to choose.

If a guy likes me or is some what interested does he....?

Well there's this guy- he keeps coming by and tapping me on the shoulder with his ruler or pencil...yesterday i told him to stop and he's like fine then I'll just touch you... n then he slid his hand from my shoulder down to my elbow- I'm really slow when it comes to these things :\

is sex really THIS emotional?

This is one of the reasons I am not having it right now. I have friends 16-18 who have lost their virginity to guys who are dogs, who do nothing for them, and treat them horrible. After this happened, I noticed a complete change. They repeatedly let these guys cheat on them, they have low-self esteem, they turn into complete zombies. It's like they all have a certain way of thinking, they all seem to tell me this "it is okay if he cheats on me, all guys cheat, it is natural". BS. Well, what do I know, maybe it is natural, I highly doubt it though. Goodness, I am wondering if I should tell them how I FEEL, but you know they have a way of thinking "our relationship is perfect and she is jealous". Someone told me I am being less of a friend if I don't let them know they are in danger. I honestly feel that they KNOW. So people that have had sex with someone who you are not with now, has this happened to you? It's just weird that I am seeing this exact change in all of these females.

How do you tell you mother that you think she is not "All there"?

I'm not even exaggerating. This lady has bad behavioral problems and my sister is following right after her. These are very angry, angry, people. My mother gets totally angry and just lashes out, I mean she goes crazy. There are way more other things than just her anger that concern me. This is the one who will never go to the doctor or any form of doctor. How do I tell her I really feel something is wrong with her and we need to go get it checked out? She is crazy.
