I don't know if anyone else answering this question feels like I do after reading "incegrad87" and "cuteyaya14," but, she/he/they scare the hell out of me!
I could do without the U.S. and Isreal blame dance.
I wonder whats going to happen to the poor, poor palestinians who keep sending the un-guided katusha rockets to blow up schoolchildren and family neighborhoods. Just light the wick and send the indescriminate, un-guided rocket off, then, celebrate the "possibility of harm" by shooting their AK-47's in the air hoping they kill someone ... anyone ... as long as they are a Jew.
I have hope you might come up with something better than all your indiscriminate and irresponsible killing.
I believe that Isreal has shown phenomenal restraint. If Saul or David was the King of Isreal today, all the philistines cities they attacked would be thrown down completely ... Men, Women, children, dogs, cats, goats, donkeys ... all living things would be gone, but, what does Isreal do? They drop notes to the populations telling them to flee and save themselves. Isreal cares more about people than all of Persia. The terrorists, when fighting, hide behind their women and children, take their weapons and hide them in Mosques because Isreal will not, intentionally, attack them there.
Of course, all these arguments travel from one side to the other and back again. Can't settle anything with the name-calling and complaints.
I guess I just have a different opinion from the facts that I read.

That's the price they pay for harboring and supporting terroristis.
Was it allright to try to destroy Israel? Israel tried in every way possible to live peacefully with its neighbors. They are surrounded on all sides with countries that harbor terrorists. From the day Israel was established, the attacks began. The Israelis even bulldozed their own settlements and gave the land to the Arabs, but nothing short of the annihilation of Israel would satisfy them. The suicide bombers got on Israeli school buses and went into the market places. Missiles were aimed at resorts and cities and hundreds more were poised on the border. Israel even built a wall but it didn't keep the terrorists out. When 2 soldiers were kidnapped, Israel had enough. The did what the US should be doing; they went after the terrorist's headquarters and training grounds. These are the same terrorists that attacked us on 9/11 and have attacked Britain, India and other countries. Israel is the only ally of the US in the Middle East and the only democracy in the region. They have a right to defend themselves.

Why is every one calling Hezbollah a terriorist when Hezbollah was originally founded in 1982 in response to the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in the first place! Hezbollah was chosen by most of the Middle Eastern countries for peace and protection. Hezbollah is not a terriorist because if fighting back and protecting neighbouring countries is terriorism, then what is: killing innocent people and kids, kidnapping palestinian soliders and torturing them ,invading palestine, AND seeking more land to call their own(Lebanon), destroying and killing what ever they want to?!

U.S is like a kid with too much power, that kid is greatly proud and happy, he will not let anyone take this power away from him, and will do WHAT EVER it takes to protect and make sure that he is the only one who have it. That my friend might just give you a little hint of why U.S and Israel are doing what they have been doing for a decade!

And sadly, the day where all of us would be equal and living in peace is a day that we can only wish would be closer. : (

The Lebanese Government knowingly harbored and encouraged a Terrorist cell. Any country which promotes terrorism must expect it will extract a price. The actions of the Lebanese Government effectively amounted to knowingly placed their own people at serious risk. These same terrorists launched attacks against Israel from within Lebanon. Israel has the right to defend itself and Lebanon were total fools to have allowed Hezbollah to operate from within their own country. Lebanon is now reaping what it sowed!
