violence is a normal animal self defense mechanism. society dictates how acceptable violent actions are. in america it's taught that violence is heroic and romantic so it's not only considered helpful but glorified. i am often threatened physically for my opinions or non-violent actions,but i am able to talk my way out of it and i avoid violent situations.

cos violence seems to bring instant results! Not only do u think u r hurting them but at least it will release ur frustration. but thats all short term, in the long term violence only brings more violence. It would have solved nothing. Its human nature 2 choose the easiest and shortest option, which unfortunately more often than not is violence.

What do you mean? Do you mean why do people believe that violence is the only answer in the case of survival or do you mean people believe violence is the only why to resolve problems?
Well, from my point of view, in the case of survival, some people are unable to find jobs that are suitable for them. This makes it hard to survive. So in order to survive, they commit crimes to provide functional prerequisites. I think the people who resolve to violence because it takes an immediate effect. I hope this kind of helps you to understand.
I also think that crime and violence is inevitable and a normal aspect of social life. This view came from a sociologist by the name of Emile Durkheim.

Because of upbringing in the family and environmental influence.
But violence only generates violence. People nowadays has difficulty in creating a "difference".

Because their minds are trashed from watching too much violence on TV and they think this is normal instead of psychotic.!

cause they dont know any other way. thats why parents have to teach their kids but most parents are single and only goal is getting child support and looking for a husband

Such people are few but their terror shows in broad area. They are not knowing their real duty for humanity.

sometimes u have to defeat the anger on the opposing side by matching it and dispelling him/her physically.
