the language. Would you do it? You are allowed to take your spouse and children, but no one else. If you're single you go by yourself (unless you have children).

You can't move back, ever, but you can have visitors if they pay their own way. And if you had sick and dying relatives you could bring them there or go to visit them for up to a month, but no longer.

Sure! I love learning languages! I would use that 5 mil to keep me secure until I have integrated and then I would use whatever is left to benefit that society. What the hell else would I do with 5 mil?

For $5 Mn, I am ready to move to France/Italy/Germany, because I do not have any body in these 3 countries and do not know French,Italian and German. Or I could go to any place where the breeze is slow.
When will you send the money? Be quick.

There are many people whose well paying jobs send them internationally to places where they do not know the people or the language. Often it is not necessary to speak the local language as they are put in camps and compounds around other people with similar predicaments. In addition to a slight increase in pay, the company they work for often pays for basic necessities such as utility bills, gas, and your children's education. I personally find it very interesting but many people ask to be transfered back to their domestic job after bad experiences abroad.

I have no real friends so it wouldn't really matter. I would take the $5 million and then moved back to the US in a few years.

If you're a single man, the women are going to be breaking down the doors to talk to you. You don't have to be rich to enjoy a foreign country.
