A friend of mine told me she is a strong, independent woman. The equal of a man. She then told me about a guy she likes but will not directly talk to him, because that is not how a woman should act. I told her that was nothing but a lousy double standard.

Never bought one - I just brouse through them waiting in the grocery checkout but I have notice that 'natiional enquirer' is more credible in what it prints than 'Globe', 'National Examiner' and other tabloids.
e.g. when National Enquirer climes a 'Cancer Shocker' there is at lease a mole removed from the celebrity's neighbour's A**.

CAn those who live and die by these tabloids, please shed some liche on the issue?
