i cannot say that i am a feminist, even though, i am a woman. but, this does not mean i am chauvinistic. oh no, i'm not! i don't really like to do things for men. i get pissed off when they do that and by the end of the day, nothing is done for them. but, i'm also not that ambitious of a woman to cry out my rights. therefore, i just think i'm a plain humanist. i'll only defend anybody, no matter what sex they are, if they are in trouble.

So I have already asked the question about populating other suitable planets, but until we can travel at the spped of sound, or use worm holes or bend space and time to get to where we need to be, what is the realistic short term answer. Do we wish a planetery disaster upon ourselves, and hope as an individual we are one of the lucky ones. Do we wish secretly for another world war. Do we stand by and watch people starve to death in the developing countries.Do we release a worldwide pox, plague or viral problem, and wait for natural choice/nature, to decide who lives and who dies.
I don't know, do you?

I know this site is often plagued by immature people, but just because I can ask a logical and mature question, why do people assume that I am in my 30's with children?! I am 19 years old, as it says in the page about me! I almost always take the time to read someone's profile before I answer them, however this seems to be an unknown courtsey to most other people. I also resent the fact that I am assumed to be older, just because I can use the English Language. I'm not particularly angry about it, just annoyed that people don't realise that there are some intelligent people under 25 out there!!

Having been on Yahoo! Answers for some time, I have found that some of the most profound questions have been treated lightly and rewarded with ridiculous, sometimes even hateful answers and nost cases 50 answers at most. Why then, does a question as silly as "How did eyebrows evolve...?" command over 3000 answers.

I work at a non-specific chain retail store. Through out the day, I pick up messes. Obviously. Why is it that people are unwilling to put stuff back in the right spot? I might find something a couple pegs away from it's original spot or something across the store. Most retail places encourage shoppers to leave their unwanted at the registers - but rarely ever happens! I had an insight as I decided to test the shoppers. 'How many times would I push in the rows of chairs on my 8 hour shift?' I must of pushed in every chair atleast 3 times that day! Is it because of the dreaded phrase, "Job security"? Do shoppers feel that people who work in retail do not deserve respect? Are they unaware of themselves and/or distracted? I'd really like to know!

We have great and wonderful people across races, people who treat others with respect and understanding. However, America is stil struggling with prejudice and narrow-mindedness when it comes to race.
Not only some people have lots of preconceived ideas, they aren't doing anything to test those ideas; thereby they are less tolerant to others differences.
