In the case of illegal immigrants from Mexico in the U.S., it causes a lot of problems, such as lowered wages(because they are willing to work for less), fewer jobs for US citizens, overpopulation, higher home prices, and a lot of other problems.

In the case of Mexico and the US, it seems that the Mexicans feel the world owes them something. But I think their protests recently did more harm than good for their cause. Bottom line: They don't want to follow the same procedures that immigrants from other countries have to follow. Once here, they bring wages down, especially in construction. I know people who have worked construction their whole lives who can't make a living, anymore, because they can't compete with people living 20 to a household. Yes, a bit of a stereotype, but there's some truth to it.

new ideas are often at the expense of something that is established. Change worries people.
