It doesn't matter if they are rich, poor, black, white, hispanic, asian, driving a nice car or a clunker. I catch myself thinking something negative about complete strangers and ask myself why am I being so negative, then get lost in introversion and fail to sociolize in a normal manner. Suggestions?

From age 12-17, I was dealing with depression and I was also being self-destructive because of my circumstances and my memories.

From 17 -21, i got some medicine help and was improving.

From 21-23, I was very functional and somewhat at my peak.

From 23-25, I have been going downwards. Most of the things I psychological problems I had at age 12 resurfaced. I kept the problems suppressed because there were no ways of dealing with those problems. I might have began suppressing the problems around age 14, but I was not able to fully suppress them and get ahold of them of my life until I had help with medication.

Now, even with new medicine help, I do not think I can improve or get better because my college transcript is really messed up with lots of class and quarter withdraws.

Mostly, because of that, I have been getting even worse and I am going even more down. Everything from the last two years is weighing on me and causing me to get worse and worse.

Downwards.

An ill-prepared college professor, when asked a difficult question, says, “No one knows the answer to that question.” This is an example of which defense mechanism?

a. Regression
b. Displacement
c. Reaction formation
d. Projection

I think the answer is D. because projection is the attribution of one’s own undesirable characteristics to other people. The teacher is suggesting that other people don’t know the answer either and are at fault also. It is less threatening this way. I don’t know if I am correct though. What do you think?

If I call myself a badger and get acrylic nails 3 inches long and scratch everyone to death who comes near, am I a badger? NO.

Sugarcoat it all you want, its still selling your body for money, and even those who do "cake parties", Its just another form of daddy appoval stripper condescending bahaviour to all women - even, and especially, if celebrities do it and enjoy it and aprove of it. Have a spine, unlike those Dems who are willing to sell our womens rights out.

I have no issues - at alll - with sex between loving adults (in all of its variances) and being proud of ones sexual being BUT MONEY SHOULD NEVER have any factor in it. AT ALL.

Your thoughts?

My grandfather was diagnosed with alzheimers; sometimes he is aware, and some days he is out of it. Anyway, i've noticed that he can be so mean now, and say the meanest things. I really felt bad for my grandmother because she had a stroke a few years ago, she is handicapped, and you cannot really understand what she is saying now. Her speech is very garbled, even after therapy, and I doubt that it will get better. Anyway, the other day she was trying to say something to my grandpa, and he started making fun of her speech, and my grandma looked very sad. It made me want to cry, and I know it's wrong, but I felt kind of resentful towards him for making my grandma feel bad about her speech. He also says rude and mean things to us sometimes too; he would have never been like this before, and I try to remember that. How can we stop him from being like this? I love him to death and hate what this disease is doing to him; how can we handle his meanness?

When I take naps during the day, I sometimes will wake up with this feeling of being paralyzed which frightens me so much. It's like my body does not respond to my brain wanting to wake up. I find that the only way to end it is to start breathing really hard until the breathing causes my chest to expand and my body to sort of "snap" out of it. It is extremely scary and I just want to know if this is something supernatural or is there some scientific reason for this. I want it to stop!

Someone dining at work last night demanded a plastic spoon because they were terrified by silverware, we need to remove all of it from the table and seat the customer away from other dining in with a lot of it on their table. I heard Billy Bob Thorthon has the same fear. Anyone know the phobia name for it?

When I was a small girl my ambition was always to be a dog walker or own a monkey farm remote in the jungle. Now I know writing is my passion. Writing opens new doors that never shut; your whole life that prior knowledge will follow you like a shadow. It is a gratifying to understand the confluence of your dreams, aspirations, and really know what you want to do with your long life ahead of you. There have been good times and bad every time a memory is made or you experience something, a change this change can benefit or take away. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Change is a fact of life it will always happen. It may hurt us mentally, physically, and figuratively. We cannot run, and we cannot hide. Life leaves us with questions that the doors opened from our writing can answer. A passion is a great desire or love for something, that is what I feel when I write. My mouth may be quiet, but when I write the feelings poor out on the page.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Writing is a refuge when I feel distraught writing helps my mind to empty like rotten food poured out of our hearts. The wound mends itself, all of the hurt and pain is on the page and there is nothing to remember. Writing can comfort the mind and never leaves you by yourself. A heavy heart is lifted and there is an instant modification.
