Just courious what your take is on it....

If a person constantly fears death and lives nervously do they force themselve to live a shorter life span and someone who doesn't fear, lives longer or is it criss crossed....where those who don't stop to think of death actually do die younger because they have taken life for granted.

I've been trying to figure out my sexuality for a little while now, and for some reason part of me wants to be a lesbian, going so far as to hold back my straight thoughts on some occasions. Is this strange? Don't people going through this normally hope to be straight? I hoped to be straight at first, but now I'm pushing heavily for the whole gay thing- not that I have much choice in the matter. :(

Why do I want to be a lesbian? Is it because I actually am a lesbian, or am I straight but having some psychological withdrawal from the opposite sex? Or is it something entirely different? help?

we go on through life living in misery, and we hardly ever stop to think... "why am i here?, whats my purpose in life?"

they say everyone has a purpose, but what about those newborn babies being killed? what were their purposes?
and i find it odd that we struggle in life to make the best of ourselves-become rich, happy, intelligent, beautiful... but in the end, it's not gonna mean anything.. right?

what do you think?

I am concerned about the actions, or lack thereof, of an "independent contractor" of the company, who says he wants to become an employee. He angers and disappoints the owner frequently, but always manages to talk his way out of it. The owner is seriously targeting him to become an employee in a few months.
When told he would need to take a drug test, he said he would have to have advance notice because he "smokes a little pot." The owner agreed to give him time, because he said he was "quitting." I suspect he may do other drugs - he's in his mid-20's and young people don't seem to think it's any big deal to do crack and heroine these days.
I am not an owner, just the office manager. It seems I am always having to apologize to customers for things he said he would do but didn't, etc. He does good work most of the time. and the customers he doesn't neglect are frequently complimenting him. The jobs he doesn't show up for, though, I think are his way of punishing the boss.

mine came this afternoon when Nirvanas unplugged was on MTV. 14 years to this week was the first airing... I remember seeing it live on the tele. 14 YEARS AGO.

I am petrified of them, it is affecting my life, I have to wash my feet all the time, I have to wear socks, I hate wearing thongs (flip-flops) I cant sleep in the same bed as my husband if he hasnt washed his feet. I cry and yell and go crazy if he wont wash them because I am scared they will touch me while I sleep. How do I overcome this, it is making me REALLY annoyed. Especially since you call somebody for help, you are crying and they just laugh at you : ( It's horrible What can I do?

....After several disagreements I broke up twice wih him...after that we make up...ok and he said lets try one more time...and after that he vanished..ok he appeared after 5 days and said sorry that I didn't contact you...but his dad was sick...and said we should break up you are right...after that we talked online and he said that he will be busy and his dad is sick...and I said ok I back off...and you decide if you want to be with me or not...ok and he did after 5 days on friday...we went out...everything seemed perfect...I was happy he was happy...and at the end said that he will be busy...I said ok..you call me when you are free...and I sms him tonight and he said he will go out with his friend...I guess he wants reaction ...so I to get mad...but instead I didn't do nothing ( this was one of our disagreements cos I told him that you are avoiding him every time he would go somwhere without me)....

So what is in his head...is it over...or maybe he wants me to teach the lesson..?

keep asking.."how did it happen?"...i feel that is rude enough...i always answer.."I do NOT relive it."...do you think they realize the person DOES NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT ANYMORE...and most likely talked about it with their family only???? they have to move on...plus i feel it is not good to relive depressing times. what is your take on that???

For the last 4 weeks, I have been depressed and feeling suicidal. I cannot talk to my school counselor because she will call my parents. I cannot tell my friends because they will tell the counselor. I am thinking about carbon monoxide poisoning myself... I just have been getting terrible grades, my teachers hate and yell at me, my parents don't care they are always sleeping. They are upstairs sleeping like at 11 in the morning while I am downstairs on the computer. My life is falling apart. I do not know what to do, I have already brought a knife to school, but I just could not slice my neck, it would hurt. I do NOT want to live anymore and I am getting horrible F's in all subjects and am falling behind and I am being talked about behind my back... I am fat and ugly... I do not know what to do except carbon monoxide poisoning myself... What am I going to do?

I ask the question if evolutionist think that evolution is the answer to the big question.

Where life came from? If you are an evolutionist, do you think that evolution explains it all in believable fact? Or do you believe that evolution is just the humans best guess at how humans became who we are?

Christians think that God created us to seek Him out, and love Him. That's what we are created for (says the Christian)

The Evolutionist says: Well.....what does the evolutionist say? Do you think that evolution has the answer to why we were created, or how? Or is evolution mans best guess?

How do I stop this thinking?...I am scared to spend more time with my Grandparents because I don't want to get to attached to them and when they die be really sad and depressed. It isent just them either, its other people too.

I never realised how bad mine were until someone tried to get close to me recently. It took me ages for me to let him kiss me, and I had to move his hand away when he tried to touch me anywhere.

I feel so ugly and sometimes I just do not like to be touched at all.

Please help me. How do I get over this? I want to be able to be close to him.

whenever i'm sad or depressed i'm nice to people because i need them for comfort or support, but when i feel great i turn into a *****, i think because i develop a sort of 'i don't need anybody, i'm everything and everybody by myself' mentality.
is that normal? it's hurting my relationships. (because i treat poeple like crap when i'm happy)

I was walking around london after university and has this women make me go into the scientology church place and take a stress test. The guy kept asking me to think of sumone who died ect but he couldnt get me stressed enough on his machine!
Then he tried to sell me a book.
I noticed alot of the people there were young and smart looking.

what do you think about this?
