Sure lots of people talk about being loved being the best, it sounds good, but let's look at it.

Fear can have a powerful effect, but that comes at a price. You can only push someone so long before they break, and often that breaking will overcome fear. Eventually people get jaded to fear and strike back, that's why oppressive regimes always seem to fall.

Love is good but it has its limit. Love is entirely dependent on good will. If you slip up, love can disappear very quickly. You also can't depend on everyone to love you, there will be someone who won't no matter what.

I think the best way to do it is to have mostly love with a little fear. Like a good father is viewed by a child. The father takes care of and loves the child but also has the ability to discipline.

So, a mixture of love with the knowledge that you deal with problems, so no one tries to act out of line.

I think it's best to be a loved and feared especially these days, of course being a woman it's pretty hard to be feared but given the right situations it's totally possible. I honestly don't care if someone hates me, I am only here to please the ones I love and care about, I never intentionally want someone to hate me and I never go out of my way to change their feelings, I do love being loved and those who love me know who I am and how I feel. I can't really say which is worse because I feel both are needed to make it in this world today.

It's like the old saying, "Do you lead by love or fear?" I think to govern a relationship by fear is primitive. A drill sargeant preparing young men for battle may need to utilize fear in an effort to drive a point home and save their life one day. Know this, generally love will dictate the right response in all of us, fear will harbor resentment. 1out of 10 people may take advantage of your love, does that mean you make the other 9 suffer. Love will conquer all and if someone violates or hates you, maybe it's a character defect on their part, not yours.

i might say that it is extra effective to be enjoyed - and infinitely extra effective. There may well be no happiness in any situation if love is absent - no count what else one would have - yet while love is recent, it is all-sufficient, whether there is no longer plenty else (love right here defined as real project for the happiness and well being of others - guy/female love, while it is valid and a valid expression of affection, is its maximum relaxing manifestation in this earth). i might in undemanding terms % to be feared if it have been being feared by making use of an enemy that would desire to attack me - different than that, i will see no different smart objective to being feared - or perhaps then, it would not carry a candle as a value to being enjoyed. .

Fear is many ways is good but I would think that in the end the automatic response is probably the best one. Of course love can be twisted and turn out all wrong but to truly be loved has to top everything.

It is better to be both loved and feared, ideally. Hitler was both loved and feared during his time. The outcome of someone hating you, I argue, can be far worse than the outcome of someone loving you. For example, revenge and murder of enemies. Few people seek the ultimate revenge on someone they once deeply loved.

I think the hardest thing to find in relationships, weather it is friendship, family, or romantic, is a health balance of love and respect. To care enough about some one to be afraid to hurt them or lose there trust an respect. That does not mean "fear of the person, but fear of losing what you have with them.

Love because it's an overall better feeling. Fear causes panic and hatred, two things we don't need in the world more than we already have.
