I've heard that sociopaths are usually motivated by whatever is best for them, but I was wondering if there are other motivations too. For instance, would you help someone who's helped you in the past (even if there's no immediate benefit for you)? Or would you try to keep a promise that you'd made, even if it causes you trouble?

its creepy...but sometimes, i'm a different person. i argue with myself alot. Sometimes, the good one has to tell the bad one to stop. She's the brain(the smart one that is). and generaly prevents me from doing stupid things and has a consept of 'consiquences'

unforunatly, the other one is realy strong. tryes to overpowere the COMMEN SENCE that i DO have. she wants to hurt others and herself. most of the time i dont.


I SWEAR, I'M REFERING TO THE SAME PERSON!! ME!!!

but why? why am i like this? thers a war in my head!

I am out in a field fencing and he calls me in to check the level in the radiator he is looking at, another time, he calls me in to check the lug nuts on the wheel he just put on his truck (1 wasn't even tightened) He is a healthy 52 yr capable person and not handicapped. I feel degraded when he does things like this. Another time, I am high on a ladder hanging tin, yes, by myself. and he hollars at me to come so I get down and see what he wants and all it is is to tell me something like "don't give the calves the alfalfa".

Why do many people believe that if you can't say things in a scientific way you don't know what your going on about?

e.g. I know a bit about gardening but i couldn't tell you what to do to a plant scientifically.
My ' friend' over heard me instructing another friend and ridiculed me for my choice of language, they then tried to instruct my friend on what to do - the friend listened to her and failed, next lesson the friend followed my advice, and passed.

Ok so here's the story and question....

I was with my girlfriend almost 5 years....we loved each other very much....we did have some fights and arguments.
I wasn't perfect, I did say mean things sometimes or do things but I have OCD and Borderline Personality Disorder.
Not all of it, but most of it was caused by my problems, I have been getting help and working on myself for the last
year and a half and been getting better. I regularly go to my therapist and psychiatrist and take my meds as prescribed.
I have gotten better. She left me 3 months ago because she said she didn't like the way I treated her. She is the type
that wants a "fairytale" relationship. Everyone has told her including her parents that she won't get that with anyone.
She also expects no fights or arguments. Well anyways she told me for the first two months after she left...that she
still wanted to be with me, she loves me, misses me, wants to know I'm serious about us, etc. Then two weeks after
that go by and she doesn't say much to me....well I texted her a lot but it was because when I tried to give her space
before by not texting as much, she would text me and say why are you ignoring me or I don't think you're serious about
this...and then when I did she didn't want me to text or wouldn't text me back most of the time.

god, this time of the year i feel, soooo sad, lonely [even around ppl.] depressed, all i want to do is cry most times! I put up a good front in front of ppl. but inside i'm dying! i could care less about the holidays, just want to be alone. I know a lot is self pity, but i just cant shake the feelings. what can i do? i pray, and try, but it dosen't help .

Everything in the world including me, looks now very dumb to me.

Like try to compete with the people I know, try to look cool, try to look smart, try to impress the ones I know, think just about people I know, anything that involves a social manner seems pointless. I'm feeling frustrated, I don't know what to do.

Thank goodness the mall isn't open 24 hours otherwise I would go right now to buy something that I had seen before. I would go in rain or snow against the strongest advisory not to be on the road. That is how obcessed I am with seeing something at the store and then demanding that I get there to buy it on another given day. Have you had this problem with self control? How have you dealt with it?

I have a problem, I can't get close to people so I can't make friends. I can sort of talk to them and we get along and they usually want to get together again or exchange phone numbers or something and they're always really sweet but I NEVER contact them again because I think they'll hate me if they knew me better and I'm just scared so I keep everyone at arms length. but then it depresses me when people share stories of all the fun times they had with friends and what they're doing together and everything and I just feel like, why not me? lol you know? this is really depressing, what should I do?

I am successful software engineer since past 7 years. My life in college and as an engineer was pretty uneventful. I used to be a popular girl in school and I did not even try for that. I am wondering where things went wrong. Few people did mention to me that I have a X-factor/good personality/smartness so suddenly I desire to be popular again. Can I change myself now? Is it even possible? If I want to be famous again can I achieve that? Somehow I feel that I am doing wrong thinking of popularity. Help!

We have 2 eyes to see things, but they are not just for us to see this world, but also to see other peoples hearts.

We have our hands not just to do things for ourselves but to do good for others

We have our legs not just to stand up and walk for ourselves, but to help others walk

We have the tongue not to speak for our needs but to speak for others

We have the ears to hear not just things that we are pleased to hear, but it is to hear another persons side of the story

We have a heart and it is not just for ourselves to live but to love one another and be open to others.


But why do we humans use the eyes to judge and criticize others ? why do we human use the hands to do harm for others? Why do we humans use our tongue to spread rumors and spread negativity ?

Why do we do that ???
