Child-like can be vastly different from child-ish.
Childlike invokes feelings of innocence and sweetness and mischief.
Childish makes grownups want to strangle the idiot.

It depends where you are?
If you look like a grown up smart man and behave like a child than people would think either you are not mature or you are crazy.
For example if you are working in a professional environment and behave like a child people will simply ignore you and you will hurt your reputation at the same time amongst your colleagues and boss.
But on the other hand if you are in more casual environment than I would say you have the liberty to act whatever the way you like however make sure other people don't get annoyed by your childish behavior.

I have been given INTJ. evidently I ought to be an architect... i don't experience so. My Extroversion and Introversion have been only approximately precisely equivalent, so possibly if I had responded something slightly in any different case, i could are starting to be an further outcomes. EDIT: I only did the fast test and gained ENTJ. i assume i'm now no longer extroverted or introverted!

Why should one exclude the other? To be inquisitive and open to the world and all it's wonders IS child like AND intelligent no matter what age one is.
Child like and childish are NOT the same thing! Childish means silly and immature, whereas geniuses tend to be rather childlike or innocent, artless, guileless, unworldly, unsophisticated, naive, ingenuous, trusting, unsuspicious, unwary, credulous, gullible; unaffected, without airs, uninhibited, natural, and spontaneous.

I don't think so but you would have to define what you mean by "child like personality." I say this because some people get annoyed by child like personalities... It doesn't mean its wrong but you may annoy people and they many not want to be around if they are annoyed.

Absolutely not. I was like this growing up. Just don't let anyone change you or get you down when they tell you you're acting like a fool or that you need to grow up. Don't listen to them. Be as goofy and stupid as you want to be and don't let your intelligence get in the way of that.

i am still a bit childish. I wished to act more maturely. So to your question, it depends. Sometimes you act childish consciously but being really childlike at an adult age is an impediment.
