No it's not normal. It's normal to have a fear of something happening to your children but when it's dibilitating and holding you back from having a decent normal life there's a problem. If that's the case you need to go to counselling for anxiety treatment. It's not good for you OR the children who are held back from life because of it.

Sounds a little like ocd the mental part of it, would be good to talk to a professional there might be a medication that can alleviate if its 24/7 it's definatly a problem.

I couldnt tell you,I'm on the other end of the spectrum wondering what my life would be like if my wife and I could have had kids. I think about it everyday.
