Sociopaths tend to have no moral compass. They go where ever life leads them, if that means they have to help some one, odds are there is something in it for them. Alot of the time they cant stay out of trouble, because they hate being restricted. They point out the obvious, in the rudest way... but they are loyal. If you befriend them they are there for life. Their rooted in manipulation though, so always watch yourself when they present you with an idea that seems iffy. Their "promises" are very motivating for them, often times they dont know why it becomes so important. Yes it is a major drive for them even if it compromises your situation. watch out.
Good luck.

You should have asked this on Polls and Surveys because there are a few on there. Narcissistic, thinking of onesself above all others, controlling, greedy, everything is mine mentality. A true Sociopath doesn't do things to help others, only to help themselves.

my husband is one ( i found this out and he is soon to be X)
he would not help anyone for nothing there has to be something in it for him....in fact if he had screwed with someone he would have no conscious of it and would ask
that person for a favor if they had something he wanted
his psychiatrist told us he was and he would not deny it and
looked down to floor as he told me she the doc was
a making it up...also he was pathological liar
it was scary how nothing bothered him and he hit me
and would say he had no memory of it
