Thank goodness the mall isn't open 24 hours otherwise I would go right now to buy something that I had seen before. I would go in rain or snow against the strongest advisory not to be on the road. That is how obcessed I am with seeing something at the store and then demanding that I get there to buy it on another given day. Have you had this problem with self control? How have you dealt with it?

oh yes, this happened to me just recently. really it is most likely something you don't need. how i dealt with it. well... there is always a tomorrow and i have more important matters than my own needless wants. resolve that next time it happens you won't be so encumbered in such nonsense to lose your Witt's. all that will come from getting that thing will be but short term which is really just insignificant

Make a list of what you really need. You can make a weekly list, or monthly list, write down every single thing you need to buy. In that way when you feel that deseperately need of buying something you will go back and check your list if that is on your list, buy if that is not, be strong and ran away from it.

Obsessive / Compulsive shopping is a serious mental disease. The organization, Shopoholics Anonymous, part of the Shulman Center, is quite helpful. Please discuss this behavior with your primary health care provider soon.
